Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also decried the spate of human rights abuses.....& the reluctance of some States to respect the Court’s orders of interim measures.....Yimu! Always giving motivational speeches. Same Osinbajo whose govt have been involving in the same human rights abuses with utter impunity while treating court orders with contempt? Even ECOWAS Court orders are not being obeyed by this government. "..The 1999 Constitution also spells out the basic rights but the regime chooses which rights or court orders to respect or obey. This is totally unacceptable. Respect for the rule of law, judicial independ-ence, political and media freedom, and due process are key tenets of democracy.” https://punchng.com/buharis-lawlessness-our-stand/ 1 Like |
