It’s ppr guys! I don’t know if anyone remember me when I came ranting in pain sometime last year October..but please let’s never give up. I was denied on the 29th of October 2021 based on financial and personal asset which I clearly stated here that it doesn’t make any sense based on the substantial evidence I submitted to prove ownership of every tangible assets I own which is also in my name ranging from houses to lands, more than 18 mill in the account that has been there for two years, first term school fees paid etc. after the refusal I applied for my gcms note but put in a new application before it came out and noticed I was misinterpreted as I clearly stated I was the sole sponsor but when I saw what was written on my application I was totally disappointed because it was an error on their side stating my parents were sponsoring which I never made mention of…. I reapplied immediately on the 30th of October with a new Loe, used the court stamp on every documents submitted earlier, added more assets to the application and even cars lol.

Timeline
First student visa application July 19th 2021
Denial 29th of October 2021
Reapplied 30th of October 2021
Medical passed 17th of February 2022
Correspondence and ppr letter 2nd of March 2022

My problem now is I applied for the uk visa November which I got in December and committed 7k pounds to get the admission, CAS and what have you. I’m currently in the uk, classes began last week.. can I send my passport to vsf in London or I have to waybill it back to Nigeria to get it stamped. And if London is possible, how can I go about it getting the passport stamped? Thank you for your guidance.

Congratulations for the approval.

I believe you can send it to UK. You will just pay transmission fee. There was someone in America when his application was approved and he was able to send it to VFS in America

Hello, good day. Please I need your advice. My Canada study permit application was just approved today, but I’m presently in Scotland studying for my MSc with my wife as my dependant. I Just wanted to know if there’s a way to defer this IRCC request I had to go ahead with the UK application because of the delays I was experiencing from IRCC

Congratulations for the approval. You have to send your passport within the 30 days requested but you can delay your travel to Canada till anytime before your visa expire. That means you defer your course start date till a latter term or semester. If you don't enter Canada before the expiration of your visa you will have to reapply but if you are already in Canada you will just apply for extension which is far better than fresh application

Hi Themmiee21,

This is the procedure:

1. Google MPOWER Financing.
2. Select the 'Schools we support' link. Here, check if the school you've been admitted to is on the list. They support 25 Universities in Canada only, the rest are US schools.
3. If your school is Present, select "check your eligibility to start"
4. Answer the questions asked accordingly.
5. For the 'Loan amount requested part' - You can qualify for up to Usd 50,000 for a whole academic year i.e 2022/2023. The lifetime amount one can borrow is Usd 100,000 because you can only apply for the loan if you have 2 years in your studies i.e *Undergraduate(the last 2 years of your studies)* and Postgraduate (The entire two years of your course - that is if your PGD/Masters is two years).
6. If you are eligible, you can select 'Continue with the application'. If not, you're allowed to check another school.
7. If you continue with your application, answer all the questions that they will ask you.
8. At this point, if you qualify, you'll get a conditional offer(a letter).
9. Go ahead and upload the documents they have requested so that they can verify your offer and get final loan approval.
10. Once approved and you accept your offer, they will send you a document indicating the terms of your loan.
11. Now, this document is key, you will use it in your Canadian visa application. Upload it under your proof of funds when doing your student permit application. MPOWER Financing terms it as a 'Visa Support Letter'.
12. Wait for feedback from IRCC. If IRCC approves your application, upload your Letter Of Introduction and Approved IMM1294e to your MPOWER Financing dashboard.
13. Once you get to this stage, MPOWER Financing will guide you through the remaining steps of your MPOWER loan application process, until the funds are disbursed to your school.

Kindly note:
This is generally the process taken in your application. Do your due diligence in the whole matter. There are applicants in the previous threads that have had their visa approved with MPOWER Financing, if you wish, you can reach out to them. MPOWER Financing has a great relationship/customer service team, that can answer any pressing or subsequent personal questions that you may have, don't be afraid to reach out to them(if you so wish).

When those who've gotten their PPR are encouraged to submit their timelines and the documents they submitted, please oblige to this 'small request'. It really comes handy for those who wish to follow the same path, especially for those who need to use this student/educational loans.

If anyone else has more information related to this, please feel free to contribute to the conversation.

Cheers.

Those issues might be related to what would have made them cancel the visa.

This is a very unlikely thing to happen, so your brother needs to be transparent and come out straight about the events that happened between him and the agent so you guys can know root of the case.

Funny thing is, I'm just knowing about this. I checked google and nothing much was said about it. In Quora, someone mentioned that its if the error is from the visa office issuing the visa. Either wrongly spelled name or wrongly placed visa on the leaf of the passport.

I don't know sha. But the applicant should make enquiries through the email address of the visa office.

I've never heard of it bro

I think they should do what you've suggested also, try to mail vfs to know why the visa was canceled.

So they can know the next step to take

I’m going for bse computer science, I don’t know what to do right now, I’ll be 30yrs by April, I’m married with a daughter, I got a message from the school online application that I should get a verified document from CUAC, contacted them for the VD and I was asked to send my int passport data page/cv/weac cert/ and result checker for confirmation, after all that I got another mail from the school saying I should check my online application and nothing has changed, I had to message the CUAC representative who I submitted my documents to for update, she said I have nothing to worry about that my that my application have been sent to the school, and no decision yet ooo, I was thinking of applying to another school and see if I stand a chance, so did you get admitted to the Saint Mary’s and how fast do you get a response from them?

Mine is a graduate prog- MTEI. I haven't heard from them either. I think you should also have a couple of other schools as options. I am giving them time though perhaps it is because the application deadline has not passed yet. I do hope they respond timely for one to have ample time for the visa process.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 1:10pm On Mar 03, 2022
It's probably due to the issues they had.

There is no problem, since it was cancelled without prejudice. This doesn't stop him from reapplying.

*But still be sure they didn’t put two visas on the passport due to mistake such that they had to cancel one.

Pls how much should be in your account as proof of funds if your going for a 2 year course.

I read it should be a minimum of 10k + your tuition fee can this be enough if your going for a 2 year course?

I need clarification on the above.

Please assist.
