That is where he should have proved how tough he is and see if his nuclear arsenal threat would prevent NATO attacking Russia.
He conveniently went to attack a non NATO member,a country that is short on men and sophisticated military weaponry and that has rudimentary air defence system,which they for years begged western countries to supply them without success.

The formal USSR lost millions of people to Nazi Germany invasion despite having a non aggression pact with the enemy. Now, NATO, a sworn Russian enemy is setting up shop next door, and people expect Russia to sit calmly and allow same mistake it did with Germany to repeat itself?
