GoodHardDick:No ! dem never tire; over 1.2 million displaced Even the head of Daura; were Buhari came from have been kidnapped. Buhari dey busy legitimizing terrorists ; Newsflash We’re finished – Nigerians fume as Buhari donates $1m to Islamic country Following the donation of $1 million by President Muhammadu Buhari to Afghanistan, a section of Nigerians have expressed anger over the president’s gesture amid hardship ravaging the country. They have been conditioned that way. I feel sorry for them. |

Basheer22:You can play all the politics you want , the fact remains that the story of the north of nigeria producing any appreciable quantity of food to feed Nigerians is a fable completely at variance with statistics and lack any iota of truth, tomatoes that ruts before the next three days , a trip to the northern markets shows mostly manufactured goods from the southern parts , smuggled rice and then their poor nutrient millet and sorgum and other grass like grains that are barely eaten in the south. Without the oil and the south the far northern parts f nigeria wud have just been Niger republic 2.0 |

amuwo1980:You are really ignorant. Very ignorant. So, Sorghum and millet are not nutritious . Why don't you read up on these two grains before talking ? The North cultivates Groundnuts, Soyabeans and Wheat too. Most of the maize cultivated in Nigeria comes from the North. Dawanu Market is the biggest grains market in Africa. It is located in Kano State. Your tomatoes and pepper come from the Northern States. Same with Onions and sesame seeds. Or are you saying we plant more maize in southern Nigeria? Do you know the kinds of food that can be made with Sorghum? How about Fonio ( Acha )?. Please, don't spread misinformation, please .Thanks. |

amuwo1980:How about potatoes and Sweet potatoes? How many potatoes do we plant in southern Nigeria? Intact, we should be planting more grains in southern Nigeria. We are acres and plot farmers in south west Nigeria. All the sorghum and millet in southern Nigerian markets, who is eating them ? Go and sit down. |

... Yet, the satanic govt of SELF SERVING THIEVES AND BLOODTHIRSTY TERRORISTS recently claimed that terrorism has drastically reduced via their usually sponsored propaganda (the useless thread was on fp yesterday) The lifeless scammer is Nigeria's worst blunder ![]() # call a spade a spade! |

Brushstrokes20: sotall:Reduced doesn't mean ended.. And it wasn't propaganda.. Terrorism(the ones associated with boko haram) in the core north has reduced significantly.. ISWAP attacks are now fewer but still continues to exist. Besides this news relates to the herdsmen Crises in the middle belt only.. Can't remember the last time I heard about any herdsmen strike...aside Benue cuz of the ortomatic failure in leadership... Always read to understand |

Redman44:Your knowledge of crop production and nigeria’s food security stops at the elementary level obviously, you label mere species and condiments as part of your purported massive food production, yes farming goes on in the northern part of nigeria both large scale and on subsistence level but most of the food you ate today were imported and not grown in ur north. Now don’t even bother to believe me , go find out |

Redman44:How many pound of poatatos sweet and unsweet have u eaten in the past one year especially if u reside any where below the river Niger ? How many pounds have ur mum and dad and all ur family members eaten in the past decade , even in your street and among your friends , let those who have eaten potatoes from the north raise their hands , I was thinking you guys will mention yams , nigeria since modern times took on to yam since it’s introduction and is its highest producer but it is mostly produced in the middle belt and south east and lest I forget 70% of what ever is even produced is wasted. |
