Brent crude to $200. The kind of protest that will hit the west won't be a child's play.

All na jege....

We go soon begin see the cracks within this artificial union of EU and NATO.

Shebi na US go come provide the individual EU countries fuel and gas.

Putin go just dey laugh for him bunker.

EU citizens go soon rise up against their governments to stop poke nosing in other pwople's business at the behest of the US all the way across the Atlantic....

Oga Europeans don't think like me and you. They are more interested in humanity than any other thing else. So they will just make necessary adjustments to cut costs. Instead of rising against their governments they will boycott more Russian goods and services.

After the 9/11 attacks, Canada welcomed 33,000 passengers, housed them and gave them food as US closed their air space.

Now Poland is doing same to Fleeing Ukrainian s. But how many countries in Africa will do that to a neighbor country in distress. These guys think humanity first.

Because all this sanctions will take a long time before redemption

These guys think sanctions and boycotting would change a thing. China has got equivalent services of every type American goods and services in existence.
These sanctions would just strengthen China's economy

Lol. African ignoramuses prepare to be exploited.

USA's alternative is Venezuela. The country that they have successfully rendered useless.
For those of you that don't know Venezuela. She is the country with highest oil deposit in the world but thanks to USA, they are unstable, destabilised and witness tons of USA sponsored coups/attacks on their presidency whenever they are trying to make progress to stop/push USA out.
Did I forget to tell you ignoramuses that they are "independent?" Yes they are but such (Democracy and Independence) doesn't matter when it is USA.

You only support the West/USA when you know nothing, or being controlled by their media.

Y don u Google Venezuela before you make some certain assertions, Venezuela is corrupt country like Nigeria, disputed Election leads to what is going on The president will not obey court order like Buhari, he didn't recognise the elected House of assembly members, it is complicated. Is not something you blame on the US just outrightly

Ukrainians have to break away from shadow chasing America.

It's Ukrainians that are dying.
It's Ukrainians that are turning to refugees.
It's Ukrainians that their houses, businesses and properties are destroyed.
It's Ukrainians that their lives are turned upside down.

Just to please and massage the ego of America.

Common!
Ukrainian leaders must get sense and stop misleading their people to their graves.

I very much doubt if Mr Putin foresaw all these sactions & backlash.

My brother putin was warned before hand by the US and others concerning the sanctions.

Maybe he thought they were playing. I pray putin comes back to his sences by ending this war.

you guys be funny on this platform. You do know trade is an important piece in international relations right?

Who do you think is China largest trading partner at the moment?
So in your opinion, China will dump all her trading partners in order to accommodate just Russia thus isolating herself further and further.

some of you are just good at commenting on Nairaland. you would theoretically run a country or company into the ground

Why didn't Russia ban its oil supply to the west then, with all the sanctions flying around, you would expect Russia to do that, why do you think they didn't?

Humanity ko. See, there are people close to government that understands clearly that us lead nato has been provoking Russia with there nato expansion. Your priority as a government should be your people, not to help us fight there proxy war with Russia. Prices of commodities will skyrocket and there will be massive pressure on government to reconsider there foolish, counterproductive sanctions, when you can easily sign agreement with putin and address there security concerns

but it will not still replace the Russian production quota in the OPEC+ system na.

which means that the price of oil will increase further than $110 per barrel..

Nigeria should take advantage of this to pay off a large portion of the National debt, increase the dollar reserves and grow the lives of her citizens..

after all the 2022 budget was based on oil price less than $100
