Nigerian government must step in and start supplying US...our politicians must use international diplomacy for our interest, no just chopping money like dumb people. Go lobby US and get the deal to supply them crude.

It will affect Africa too. They will pass the strain to countries that import anything from them. Expect rises in prices in a month from now and possibly a severe recession in Africa. Shame on Nigeria for being on the seat of agriculture and yet importing grains to serve its needs

Lol. African ignoramuses prepare to be exploited.

USA's alternative is Venezuela. The country that they have successfully rendered useless.
For those of you that don't know Venezuela. She is the country with highest oil deposit in the world but thanks to USA, they are unstable, destabilised and [b]witness tons of USA sponsored coups/attacks on their presidency whenever they are trying to make progress to stop/push US

You only support the West/USA when you know nothing, or being controlled by their media.
And you that know it all, tell us why it is ok for a Country like Russia to wake up and invade another Country in 2022. Putin has been playing these deadly games for years but now is the time for him another others like China to pause and think. Russia gong to hear it from the world ok?

Which movie, you reason like a black man you are. That's what I mean by me and you. Then if you say you are a black man but you reason like White, that's inferiority complex. On the other hand, if you tell me you are White, whereas you are black, then that's self pity and self denial. grin

You reason like me a black man like you. That's how we reason. And nothing is bad with the way each man reasons, all we pray is for understanding to achieve a common good

As for movies, I started learning Russian April last year. I belonged to many Russian groups on Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram.
I also belonged to one Ukrainian group like that. I know what's going on. I am not telling you what I saw on CNN. Each fallen Russia Soldier is posted in the group with, his passport, details etc for his family to make a claim. There are forms in the group for people to fill and submit to Russian defence headquarters to know the fate of their own follow go the war.

I have Russian friends and they tell you they are suffering. So na you day watch movies o

All these rant on top Ukraine and Russia Matter?

Wetin concern me about who no care about me and my brothers and sisters?

I'm more concerned about my brothers and sisters suffering untold hardship due to our incompetent leaders being aided and teleguided by the same ones you are holding forth for.

I am more concerned about my people fleeing hunger, insecurity and poverty through whatever means particularly through the deserts and seas while losing their lives.

I am neither white nor black my brother. I am me and God's creation. You can chose whatever colour pleases and makes you sleep well at night.

Abeg go find water drink and think of where to get fuel at pump price.

Nah...you actually didn't understand anything I wrote. For example,Visa and master card sanctioned Russia and they switched to China's Union Pay. Russia is still supplying oil and gas to the rest of Europe and the world and even military equipments too. Before the invasion,Biden mentioned these sanctions to Putin yet he carried on. These sanctions are affecting Europe more than it is affecting Russia.

you said China can buy all the services the west buys from Russia thus rendering the sanctions ineffective which is why I pointed out how wrong that analysis is.

now you've brought this other point up? Which western country is Russia selling military gadgets to?
Biden didn't not mentioned the sanctions, he said Russia will be sanctioned and they are. For now it's the Oligarchs that are being heavily sanctioned not Russia itself as a country. They are slowly moving in that direction as the war drags on.
You guys really need to understand what sanctions entails.
Russia only provides 40% of the gas Europe needs, how is 40% bigger than 60% that you're saying Europe is feeling the sanctions more than Russia?

Russia that's Ruble is at an all time low. You know how you guys complain about how useless the Naira purchasing power is, that's how Ruble is right now now yet you say Europe is feeling it more

Russian gas supply is the biggest single energy supply in Germany. The other 60% comes from different sources, largely renewable energy sources, which is intermittent and unreliable

US is the World 2nd largest oil producer and also its largest consumer.

Kuwait,Saudi and Iraq and supply US and the World incase of any shortage in demand.
Secondly higher Oil price means oil shale franking and mine becomes more feasible ,of which US is the World leader.

Europeans would be getting Russian gas for peanuts considering how low the Ruble has fallen.

but it will not still replace the Russian production quota in the OPEC+ system na.

which means that the price of oil will increase further than $110 per barrel..

Nigeria should take advantage of this to pay off a large portion of the National debt, increase the dollar reserves and grow the lives of her citizens..

after all the 2022 budget was based on oil price less than $100

Even if oil price get to $500 per barrel The lives of Nigerians would still remain the same, instead the Elites would increase fuel price and blame it on higher crude oil prices.
Blacks are their own worst enemy.

Venezuela began experiencing continuous and uninterrupted inflation in 1983, with double-digit annual inflation rates. Inflation rates became the highest in the world in 2014 under Nicolás Maduro, and continued to increase in the following years, with inflation exceeding 1,000,000% by 2018.
