It's sad because Ukraine is ending up as the theatre of war and flexing of muscles but none of those propping them up will truly come up openly to their defence because the repercussions of such actions will be very dire to everyone.

I think Europe isnt desperate enough to diversify their gas sources yet. Would be nice to see Russia cut off that supply for just 1 month, it could force the European union scrambling to Nigeria to sponsor the trans-saharan gas pipeline and possibly a new LNG plant (benefits for Nigeria)
