Passengers were left stranded Tuesday morning at the various Bus Rapid Transit terminals across the state with no bus in sight. There are speculations the BRT has suspended operations for fear of attack following the death of 22-year-old Bamise Ayanwole, who was allegedly abducted and killed after boarding a BRT vehicle on Friday.

Our correspondent, who visited the Ikorodu BRT terminal, confirmed that there were no buses at the terminal to convey stranded passengers to their various destinations.

An official of Primero, who preferred anonymity, confirmed to The PUNCH that the operations of the BRT had been temporarily suspended across the state owing to the unfortunate incident that led to the killing of Bamise.

But he assured the commuters that the issue was being handled by the state government and services would be restored as soon as possible.

Asked what was being done about it, the official said he could not say. All efforts made to reach the Primero head office proved abortive as of the time of filing this report as the calls were unanswered.

Sanwo-Olu should be proactive and handle the issue with care. The aftermath may be worse than #EndSARS

Karlovych:
embarassed Drugnibu's handwork again, he has appointed his owomidas to positions that will create problems throughout the country for his own selfish reasons.

He made an Owomida ambassador

He made an Owomida BRT driver to kidnap and mine skulls for him

He has them on the streets of Lagos waiting patiently to give them orders to carry out his evil plans.

RIP Bamise, may the evil created by the exiled Iragbiji devil consume him.
why did you decide to make life unbearable for urself?

Any miscreant that tries any rubbish should be seriously dealt with. The culprit of the crime has been apprehended therefore the law should be allowed to take its course. This idea of goading lawless behaviour as pretext for expressing grievances should never be tolerated anywhere in any sane country, moreso in a place like Lagos after the endsars experience. It's still the masses that will suffer all the pain that will come with this brt operations suspension, not Sanwo-Olu.

Na real wa.

No one trusts this government.

And the government may not manage the narrative very well either.

Was the driver an indifferent bystander, an active participant, or an accessory?

Can this be proven?

Learn lessons of life. Anytime you shield evil, evil multiplies. More innocent people will become victims.

The same downfall of the #EndSARS protest started from this very BRT. The #EndSARS protest by the youth was one of the most peaceful, purposeful protests in living memory anyone could think of. Even the westerners were shocked at the dexterity and composure of the black race. This was truly a moment of pride for the black man as we sought to end the ills of police brutality, oppression and economic deprivation.

But what happened next was the use of BRT buses to hire and load thugs who came to matchet and injure protesters. Yet some people will say Tinubu doesn't know about it. How can a whole transit system be used to hire thugs to kill protesters without the knowledge of a puppet governor and his pupeteer? After that, youth were also gunned down at Lekki tollgate where the same man collects unlawful compulsory levies, and people say he knows nothing about that too.

You idiots that support killers like this are the problem which is why I always pray such ill fate become the portion of you and your household alone. Your propensity to wickedness and evil should not be affecting all of us, enyin eranko yi.

This same man below in the pic with cutlass has not yet been brought to book and you people think you have justice. No one is even talking about it again. Then the problem will come again. As blacks we must learn to stick to the end of a fight or revolution. Otherwise the problem comes back again, like what we have now. What is wrong with us?

You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Using the poor girl's death to advance your Tinubu agenda.
