Someone outside the country seeing this will not know that more than half of the nation's population have been starving for a good while now...

If the feeding conditions of most Nigerians today is not yet qualified as a Crisis, then something is seriously wrong with this 3rd world nation!!!

They should be bold enough to say that maladministration is the chief cause of the impending food crises. When this wicked government allowed Fulani herdsmen to destroy farms, kill farmers, burn down farm settlements and take over the settlements and farm lands just for grazing their cows, none of our knew what they were inviting. When they gave military escort to Fulani herdsmen to go and kill people, displace them and take over their lands, they didn't know hunger is what they inviting. They didn't know that food supply is going to be low with a very high demand hence high price. These people we called leaders both in the arm forces and executives killed this country in pursuit of a [b]parochial agenda of taking over the whole country [/b]because their likes are in power.

Parochial agenda of Fulani settlement in every part of Nigeria in their bid to Islamize Nigeria. Crop farming was placed behind open Cow grazing.

With Atiku and Tinubu as the frontrunners to succeed President Buhari, there is no hope for Nigeria.

They will place Tinubu on Apc ticket, place Atiku on PDP ticket, on election day, most of the north shall troop from APC to vote Atiku who will also win 25% in most of the SE and SS.

Lagos is different from southwest. It’s still Yoruba land same way Ilorin and parts of kogi are all Yoruba land. SW without lagos still beats every region in Nigeria.

The most foolish report I have read in a while. This is the start of the rainy season, I.e planting season. Instead of giving incentives to people and encouraging them to farm on every available piece of land, you come out and predict food shortage and starvation in a land as blessed as Nigeria!
So excuse me, the so called boko haram that are seizing lands left and right, what are they doing with them? Is it not high time we rise up and root out these evil from the land once and for all before they and their backers put us in more mess?

What happened to the basket food of the nation. I am suprised I did not see Imo, Anambra etc in that list. Once Benua is affected I know that other state can't cop because most of this states depend on Benua.

I came to check if you will put Rivers and Bayelsa state so that I will tell you it's false. We have rivers and farmland and even with the gas flaring, there is abundance of fish and farm produce. We take farming seriously, but for personal consumption.
