"Have you ever tried correcting someone about a particular thing and the person keeps saying sorry and repeatedly repeat the act? It can be a horrible experience. You realise with time, the sorry loses the power that you don't even want it any more. It rather irritates than pacify you. Doing the right thing is the best apology.
