Philip Shuaibu is angry that Obaseki refused to join him to apc, he would have remained in apc and allowed Obaseki to join pdp alone, in Philip Shuaibu words he said they joined pdp because of the governor, did he not benefit? Is he not enjoying his seat as deputy governor? He should learn from the recent high court judgement on Governor Umahi decamp to apc. Wike noted that Philip Shuaibu didn't win his local government the last governorship election that's conducted, what will Obaseki lose in philip Shuaibu if he decamps? Will PDP trust Philip Shuaibu again, coming to tell Edo people that he didn't intend to join pdp, he only escorted the governor is not only an insult but a let down to the people of Edo who voted him

Any attempt for Phillip Shuaibu to join APC now will lead to his political demise in Edo state. In as much as we like Phillip because of his loyalty to his governor but he should not think of himself as a beautiful butterfly when indeed he is just a housefly. Also, PDP who will know is not doing the job of the opposition, should put their act right on Edo state. Let the Governor have control of the party in the state, anything other than that will lead to them losing Edo. 3 Likes |

Pdp has g recognized Phillip or obaseki as part of them or their leaders and that because obaseki and Phillip don’t have enough structures even though they came with thousands of members, these members have not been integrated into Pdp as 1 party bt as factions at best. There is a very divided mindset in PDP Edo and they are only respect obaseki cos he is still governor. Shiabu is correct on his assertions. |
