Malami: I didn't exonerate Kyari, I only asked for further probe

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN has described as false the media reports that his Office had conclusively exonerated Abba Kyari.

The clarification was made by Dr. Umar Jibrilu Gwandu, Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.

According to the statement, there appears to be misunderstanding regarding the issue.

It was a case of work in progress in respect of which the office of the Attorney General of the federation requested for further probe in relation to some aspects of investigation.

Dr. Gwandu said that It was clear that the conclusion on the alleged contradiction on the issue was a clear case of misconception.

The office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice's stance is that no conclusion has been reached in the direction of absence of evidence relating to the first report.

The issues were raised for further investigation with a view to cover the field in investigation in order to arrived at informed decision.

I hope others still decieving themselves or allowing some people to decieve them that this is Nigeria and they can do lau lau and get away ,are learning. If your ooops hits the fan ,people will abandon you o.

For over 1 year now, the USA requested for the extradition of Kyari but the police and Nigerian government refused, but immediately he was caught dealing with drugs, the same people that refused his extradition are now running up-and-down to extradite him.
It's obvious that they don't want him to expose his cohorts, those at the top. We supposed to know what is going on. Our mumu too much in this country
