You must not do pcr anymore. Antigen test is acceptable now, and can be done at many places
Oh really? I searched Google on where to get the Antigen test in Lagos.

And I've not seen anything.

Any idea please? Thanks.

This made me laugh lol....Submission ends March 31st, guess you applied too early, you will hear from them from April
It depends on the department though. My department admission closed Jan 31st and promised to get back to prospective students Feb. But nothing since then. I feel New Brunswick admission is generally slow.

Walk in to any standard lab nearby and ask for covid antigen test. If the ones you check don't run the test, they'll know those that do. My office sell the test kit, I'll check for list of our customers in Lagos tomorrow and let you know. Should not cost more than 10k to run the test.

Thanks a lot for this bro.

Must I make/book an appointment online?

Or can I just go there without booking, and do the Test before travelling?

Cause that Ikeja far wella from my side.

I'm female.

You do not need to book online, just go there in the morning to have it done. The result will be sent to your email after 3hrs or more.

They frown at cash payment, will suggest you use your ATM card to pay.

Good luck

Hello,

Please for someone who wants to apply as a family (student + wife and kids), what kind of visa will the wife apply for, is it a visitor's visa (since sowp takes so long, or when applied together with the student, sowp will be treated faster)?

For children of ages between 5-15yrs, what visa will be applied? Study permit right?

Can Sickle Cell condition affect the medical/visa outcome? One of the children is a Sickle Cell patient.

It's PPR, thanks be to God!!! I'm super excited to bring with me good news which could also be a shimmer of hope for you all in this Canadian immigration journey which we are all coursing. On Friday, 11th of March 2022, I finally received the good news of the approval of my Canadian study visa. Truly, delay is not denial, these are my application details:

Confirmation of Submission: October 14, 2021.
Correspondence Letter/BVL : March 10, 2022
Original Passport Request: March 10, 2022

I began this Canadian migration journey sometime back in 2019. At this time, I had no knowledge about whatever processes were involved in applying for the visa, I just had my burning desire to leave this country for greener pastures. Factoring in my ignorance and the need for me to make this work, I procured the services of a canadian immigration consultant. Hmmm... I won't bore you with the disheartening experience of how this journey went, but my people, it was a dark experience for me. Asides from keeping me in the total dark with regards to my application process, he was quite inept in his services and undecided so many times about what course of action to take in response to a presented difficulty. Well, to put it briefly, after he put together a scruffy package for me, my visa application was denied by the IRCC on the 9th of July, 2019 on the grounds of:
1. Purpose of Visit
2. Current Employment decision
3. Home Ties
4. Personal Assets and Financial Status

Upon receipt of my refusal letter, I nearly went into depression. All the time, effort, and money expended had all gone to waste. However, my resolve was greater than my circumstance so after a while I gathered myself up and decided to give it another shot. Quite fortunately for me, at around the same time, a friend of mine had just received an approval for herself to travel to Canada for her master's program. She then told me of her story and referred me to @Frankrobbn1 on Nairaland who she claimed had worked the miracle for her. She further told me of how he had similarly helped a lot of people on the platform through his expert advices on how to successfully migrate to Canada. Upon this, I reached out to @Frankrobbn1 through this very platform to retain his services for a re-application and that was when my story changed for the better.

As a previously refused applicant, I will attest that I was initially quite jittery. However, after a brief while corresponding with Mr. Frank, I was in awe of his professionalism, experience and proficiency in the Canadian immigration industry. I have found him to be extremely detailed, an excellent researcher, problem solver, and critical decision maker. He provided me with tailored support and exhibited excellent attention to detail. He further skillfully resolved all the complications in my last application with the highest degree of professionalism and put my fears to rest by covering every grey areas in my application which resulted in the approval of my study application.

The good God that I serve that used Mr. Frank to change my story from denial to approval will continue to bless him for me. As you have put a smile on my face and the faces of many, God will continue to keep your lips wide with smiles. I cannot quantify the joy that I am feeling right now as I make my travel plans to Canada. For those aspiring migrants reading this and have been undecided about using an agency, take my advice and contact @Frankrobbn1 as soon as possible. He is one honest person I can assure you is worth his pay. I appreciate everyone on this platform and the information and assistance you people give to questions asked on here. I also pray that everyone who is awaiting decision on their application will all receive positive feedbacks in Jesus name. Amen!

Once again, thank you @Frankrobbn1 for what you did for me and God bless you. See you all in Canada. Au revoir.

Please do PCR, they might be accepting antigen in canada now but trust me Naija airport staff will ask for PCR. You know it takes long for us to adjust to any change

You are right, I’ve been contemplating on this too even thou my school confirmed I can do either PCR or Rapid Antigen test but I know Naija Airport will still be on ground for that PCR.

If the school says you don't need it, you don't need it. They usually don't need supervisor for programs that do not offer funding. Please check the tuition page and make sure you can afford the fees and your upkeep before applying. Applying does not guarantee admission. So you may still loose your application fee. The easiest and sure way not to fail is not to try at all.

Wow... This is good. Saves time and money!

I'd be expecting a feedback boss.. Thanks a lot.

My issues is just these dullards at the Nigerian Airports. They might want to do their wereh thing and still demand for a PCR Test.

Exactly!!! Thought about this too..

But I think once you stand your ground, and maybe show them proof on IRCC page, they'd have no choice than to let you in.

I sure know those guys can be very funny and annoying!

Good day to all the great minds here!!

March 6th makes it exactly a year I submitted my application for a study permit, and within this period my application has been accepted, I’ve landed in Canada, and I would be rounding up my second semester this April.

Its been really hard, and at the same time its been really good, for that we give God the glory!!

I just want to appreciate all the good people in here, people who share knowledge, answer questions and are ever ready to help! For my application I learnt it all from here, and I can almost say I never googled anything! From A to Z, even to the direction of vsf, na here I find am.

God bless everyone mehn!

To people still hoping for approval, it would surely come, and ‘It would end in praises’, for all of us.
