Basilo101 aka Ogbuefi2020, the bushman from timid nsukka, we know why you are bitter and frustrated over the worldclass standard Anambra international airport, because since its opening, airlines have been running almost empty to Enugu state, very soon that motorpark enugu airport will close down.

Hopefully, the Onitsha Hotel will be completed. If the man who bought the property is unable to complete it, the concessioning contract should be revoked. Based on the location of this property and the propensity of becoming a security threat used by criminals to operate in the area.

This is a good instance of why the state government should think very carefully if it wants to allocate the land inside the ICC to a private individual to build a hotel. Some of these "private" companies are 419 outlets that will take the state funds and simply disappear after a while. I think the same shady company Noiz Konsults was awarded the Onitsha Hotel, Ikenga mall, Awka, and the Nnewi mall. All three projects failed! So the state does not need to be told that Noiz Konsults must not be awarded any further state project.

Sometimes, it is always better for the state government to build the hotel itself and then concession out its management to reputable hotel chains like Transcorp-Hilton, Protea, Marriot, Golden Tulip, Sheraton, Radisson Blu, etc. It is dangerous to sell them a piece of land or a hotel that is 90% completed because they might mess you up and leave it as uncompleted. The way they did for the Onitsha Hotel but the Agulu Lake (Golden Tulip) hotel that was first completed by the state, and then handed over to Golden-Tulip for management has been a success story.
Onitsha mall = African Capital Alliance
Agulu lake = Golden Tulip
Onitsha hotel = Abandoned
Awka mall = abandone
Nnewi mall = abandoned
Airport and ICC = uncompleted hurriedly built substandard projects with heavy borrowing

What amazes me most about you is that a timid local nsukka pig is calling your superior a villager. Can you compare an average nsukka man out there and an average Anambra person? Calling someone an 'nsukka man' is almost an insult, so you should be hiding somewhere because you people are regarded as 3rd class igbos.

Hahaha. Anambala Bushmen consider themselves superior by default. What a backward mentality. This is how you all cause trouble all over the place trying to assert imaginary superiority. Considering "Nsukka man" an insult is one of your characteristics as crude, dense, unrefined chest beating apes

Basil the timid nsukka bushman. This is not about assertion but about reality out there. Calling someone an "nsukka man" is an insult out there and you know it.

Nsukka people are considered as 3rd class igbos out there and you know it.

Nsukka people are considered as crude, barbaric, illiterates, poor, backward and useless. And these are facts out there. Stop feeling inferior because your people are considered low on the ladder.

Anambra people are everything excellence, refined, educated, successful, etc.

Nsukka slaves

When we give advice from the engineer's perspective some shallow minded villagers will call us haters who are envious of Anambra progress forgetting that most of us have greater business interest in Anambra than them. Look at the hurriedly built substandard airport with huge loans?
No one asked for your advice, Enugu has an Airport, go and use it and leave Anambra Airport alone. Why are ndi imo and enugu very bitter about this Airport. Nawaa. The airport is already working, Flights are landing and taking off. Thats the most important thing, if you like to and take pictures of the gutters or bushes around, we do not care. The only Airport in the state was built by FG and yet substandard and you have the guts to talk nonsense

This is our newly built airport ..Egwu dikwa.
I don't know why some people are just wicked, substandard materials at it finest.
The airport is work in progress, I'm sure there's a maintenance unit that will fix these few issues. The way the opposition rushed to post this should show how bitter they are over the airport. If we do a quick google search you will find things like this in almost all airports. Besides all these pictures are not in anyway related to the operation of the airport in any way so why the noise

What is your point Mr. man?? So because I posted the fact means that I am opposition now ? Quick google search will show similar incident but you couldn't come up with any with your quick google search. Most of you on this thread are really stupid , everyone knows it will be fix but can they fix it with quality materials ? Maybe next wind and all the skeletal structures will collapse?, We are happy about the airport but not happy about the quality of work being delivered there.

Shut your mouth, you posted pics of few roofing sheets being blown away by wind and say substandard. Why weren't all the roofing sheets in all the buildings blown away. I don't also support substandard works but people like you are already set to blow this out of proportion and call the airport substandard over something that wont even add zilch to the operation of the airport (its not even as bad as runway flooding in most airports we've seen). I know you will not also come back to post after it is fixed.

You are correct here surprisingly. If Anambta Airport could be completed in less than 2 years then no reason why any serious Govt should abandon any project, its the prerogative of the Gov to decide whether to complete the projects or sell it off to private sector.. The legacy project Soludo has to do in Anambra right now is dualizing Anambra roads
Not just dualising roads, the single lane roads should be maintained, repaired and well marked.
Flyovers are needed.
A lot of roads need uplifting. We need beautiful, quality road infrastatcuture with the accompanying street lights, traffic lights and lane markings.
Flowers planted alongside wouldn't be bad. These are things that give a state modern city looks.

There should be a law or executive order stopping the building of roads with open drianinges.
Almost all roads in Anambra have open drianinges.
These are things that need to be urgently worked on.

Nwokem,
Stop insinuating the airport was substandard. It is not.
All over the world, storms damage building roofs. This isn't even the first time wind storms have damaged the roof of buildings in Nigeria. More will still happen this year. So stop being silly.

All of you rejoicing at windstorm damage at Anambra International airport are pathetic. It clearly exposes your bitterness that Anambra finally has an airport. I have news for you, it will be fixed in less than 2 days. Ndi uchu!

Although I'm staunchly a peter obi supporter, the total failure to deliver any of his legacy projects except the Agulu Lake hotel and Onitsha mall completed by Obiano underscores his very poor planning and delivery abilities as a manager.

Compared to Obiano that supervised and COMPLETED his legacy projects without abandoning any to the next administration. Of course, Soludo would not complain if Obiano abandoned his legacy projects for the Soludo administration. But Obiano went ahead and completed his legacy projects so that Soludo can focus on his own projects.

Just imagine how highly Peter Obi would have been rated in projects delivery if he delivered any of his legacy projects of Onitsha, Nnewi, and Awka malls as well as Agulu and Onitsha hotels instead of abandoning them to become the burden of the next government.

You said it all
