Which partners? Russia is better than all except China, imagine Russia begging Syria for military support. In this age no country is bigger than others. America can't survive if all countries gang against them

That is a huge lie, that is for a country with meagre resources. For Russia, they have huge resources, technological partners and allies. Europe needs those resources, that is why sanctions can't last, the sanctions may cripple Russian economy, but it is like a double edged sword, the west will also feel it

The level of unification of Europe and other nations against Russia is unprecedented. This will be their downfall. The west will not suffer that much in the face of cleaner and alternative sources of energy. Already the world is aggressively moving away from Fossil fuels so Russia would eventually have to drink their oil and puff their gas

EU is an example of surface level unification, there is a lot going on beneath that we don't know . Each country fights for its own interest. Talking about clean energy, it is going to take a lot of years to perfect it, a lot of machineries still require oil to function. It is going to take decades for them to achieve that goal.

$300b reserves is peanuts for a country who thrives off nuclear research, military armament and reserves largely grown through the direct patronage and investments from the West.

Same west have now cut them off through Sanctions with all investments and businesses from the same west pulling out or stopped.

A lot of Russians who are influencers make money off social media. ALL SOCIAL MEDIA HAS NOW BEEN BLOCKED IN RUSSIA.

No country would touch Russian weapons now as imports.

No country would buy their wood.

Their oil sales are being severely blocked or stopped

Their gas sales would follow suit shortly as EU aggressively now moves away from fossil fuels

Russian Ruble has vaporized. Their stock exchange has vaporized

Shell has pulled out, BP has pulled out along with 2 other major oil players

$300b reserves you say yet it couldn't save their ruble nor their stock exchange.

Dude Russia is on life support right now. They know it.

USA has signed the bill for 500,000 Electric charging stations across the country (this means a massive push away from fossil driven vehicles by end of 2025)

EU is shutting down Oil purchase from Russia by end of 2022.

I don't think that this is the goal. If Russia had gone Hiroshima on Ukraine the way America did to Japan then, you wouldn't be typing this. Things would have been too disastrous. So far I think russia's aim is to capture the said neo nazis and demilitarize the country without incurring a lot of civilian casualties.

Story, Japan brought Hiroshima upon themselves by attacking pear harbor, what exactly is Ukraine crime?

If they nuke Ukraine the radiation will definitely affect Russia. Using nuke on Ukraine is more like using nuke on themselves.

Instead, I think the real war will start after Russia successfully capture Ukraine. This is just a senseless war about nothing other than creating problems. A lot of problems will start after the so called war.

May be Russia should apply to join NATO self so that the world will be at peace.

In Ukraine now, you can't have water. I am just trying to imagine if I can't have water to drink for 3 days !!!

It may lead to regime change both in Ukraine and Russia. A lot of Russians are not in support of the war. Almost all Ukarians are aligned to the government. They are committed to their country. I believe they can talk and stop this massive destruction. Whatever, the case may be, they MUST still sit down and talk. People talk, guns don't.

fake sanctions. Shell just bought 750k barrels from russia. Many companies are still doing business with russia.

The US have imposed sanctions on Russian oil, so the shell buy if true is likely to for the UK, even the UK plan to gradual stop buying Russian oil, it buys about 5% of its requirements from Russia, USA buys less than that.

EU have other other alternatives to Russian oil, but it's will be expensive, so they too have started gradual planning on how to trim it down to nearest minimum.

Only a fool will think these sanctions are not gravely affecting Russia now and will not
be worst in future.

That the condition from United States and Europe.
Where will Putin get money to sustain Russian troops remaining in Ukraine for the next 6 months, Russia Economy is crippled, their Russian ruble is now worthless than toilet paper, that's why almighty Russian is now asking china for military assistance and financial assistance, which the United States has threatened China with sanctions if China try to offer any assistance to Russia
China cherish it's Economy than Russia, China can not afford any sanctions from the United States or European Union who are China top biggest trading partners.
Any major sanctions from United States and European Union on China will cripple and Bury the Chinese Economy even faster than the Russian Economy.
China will not want to go that route to jeopardize their own Economy over a relationship with Russia


Let the sanctions come on china so nations owing them can pay with their toilet papers. China looks robust but very fragile economic wise.

EU shutting down oil purchase from Russia by 2022 doesn't mean that they won't still rely on Russian allies like Venezuela and Saudi for oil. I read that the Arabians are not willing to pander to the drum beats of the west. Also India will not stop its oil purchase for a very long time even if they have 3 billion electric buses. I don't believe that sale of evs have taken over diesel vehicles. Many sport cars still use fuel, aeroplanes use fuel, many factories need fuel for production, a lot of houses still need fuel for heating.
