Please I'm looking to go into planting of oil plam trees for commercial purpose. What kind of variety can I go for, and how many hectares will I need for planting 1000 trees. Thanks in advance. 1 Like 1 Share |

Babalakin:21 plot is enough to plant 1000 trees |

MCKitchen:From your reply it is either you are not a farmer or your are just pulling his legs 1 acre ( 6 plot) = 60 oil palm trees 16.5 acres ( 6 plots x 16.5 plots) = 1000 trees |

7 Ha will be required for 1000 trees you can go for Tenera variety or Yamgambi variety ( a k.a super gene) |
