We are an agribusiness company that specializes in farming and trading of agricultural products such as Maize, Soybeans, Cashew etc.
We are looking for a hardworking and qualified Farm manager to head our farm project in Ogbomosho, Oyo state.
Responsibilities
* Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting.
* Ensuring good agricultural practices that adhere to international standards.
* Make sure quality seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides are used.
* Being proficient in crop diseases and pest management.
* Ensuring high productivity and profitability.
* Marketing and sales of harvested products.
* Collaborating with management to prepare farm budget, financial projections, and reports.
* Building with management professional networks and keeping updated with developments in the agricultural sector.
Requirements
* Have a good knowledge of agriculture especially crop production.
* A passion for farming and agriculture.
* Minimum of at least one (1) year of farm management experience, especially in Maize and Soybeans farming.
* Must know how to impact knowledge and manage people.
* Must possess communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must possess excellent negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Must be a male.
* Must reside in the South West region (residing in Ogbomosho Oyo state is an added advantage).
Salary is competitive with productivity and profitability incentives.
