Sedic or Amoo
he can't bench Sadiq... Sadiq is probably our most in form striker now irrespective of the league.
And Amoo is not a striker.
Ighalo is the only one that can be dropped for Dessers but then he is untouchable

Can Eguavoen deploy Nacho as the 9 as Rodgers did vs Arsenal? It will make the middle quite lethal in expression imo. grin
It's possible but it will be a Gamble and we can't afford that now.

Sadiq hasn't been good in Nigeria colours ..we can't keep calling on him.

We both know Amoo won't play so why waste that spot when we can call on a good striker. Maybe if we had desser at the Nation's cup we won't have been eliminated. Nigga no go miss the chances this Sadiq was missing
How many games has Sadiq played for Nigeria? He has 1 goal in 1 start which is a good record.

Even if you invite Dessers the problem is will he play? He is a good player but I don’t think he can compete with guys like Onuachu and Awoniyi for remaining slots. After all, it was same Onuachu that benched him all the way to Feyenoord.

lol someone play about 3 matches for Nigeria at afcon and he was generally the poorest player in the field of play. .yet he keeps getting invited cause of his form in a second division?... Just wondrful

This was why I said Ighalo should respect himself and retire… we have so many options in attack in limited time but we can’t test them because one old cargo is holding everybody hostage as an untouchable. Based on league standards Awoniyi should be in this team x10 over Ighalo but see what is happening. It is painful to say the least.

lol. We haven't given him a chance, how then can we know?. onauchu might have benched him in the club but nevertheless he might come here and do something that onauchu has never done. We should give him a chance.

Maybe we watched different AFCONs or you just have an agenda.

Sadiq is second in both goals and assists in the Segunda. The closest overall performer in terms of all round goalscoring/creation is Dennis. Watch his Segunda goals, they are mostly not tap-ins or sitters. Many were shots from outside the box, some with cool finishing on his weaker left foot. He has been class this season and deserved to be rewarded.

Sadiq was our best player on the pitch against Tunisia by far. He may not give you the same physical intensity Awoniyi gives, but he has a presence and is so lethal in his positioning around the box that when he plays he seems to get so many chances.

Chance we didn’t give Onuachu? Evaluate it yourself.

If a guy who benched you at club barely made the standby, what chances do you have of making the actual list?

This is talent here. He needs to improve his vision though. I want him delivering Dem killer passes.

As much as I like dessers and his good attitude ,he can’t bench anyone available and he doesn’t have better form than them and that’s on period

If you're not happy with Sadiq, say so and stop bringing the Dessers agenda here.
How many minutes did he played in the first match? He missed chances in his second match but ended up scoring. The third match was his best performance in AFCON.
And he is not the first player that will get invited from second division so...

Brazil have many options in defense ,maybe we should tell Thiago Silva and Daniel Alves to both respect themselves and retire grin

There is nothing like respect yourself in football Oga ,I feel this is ighalo last tournament for the eagles

Bro...you said it right but to be truthful, if I'm the one, I won't decline the invitation...more money, more exposure. grin

I'll only blame Pinnick and the crew who drafted the invitation list.

How many defenders in the world are better than Thiago Silva? If you like be 71, as long as you are delivering top class performances in a competitive level you should be in the team.

I rate Segunda and Championship over the Scottish League bar the Old Firm. Does that mean I am against Aribo getting invited?

so you never see player where dem bring m in just 10 minutes to go and he comes in score both the equalizing goal and winning goal?.

I have seen a lot of players they bring from bench and they come to score astonishing goals.

So don't bring that bench stuff as an excuse. No be small Elanga them introduce for bench come score equalizing goal for man United?. It's not that he didn't get chances o. Cause if he didn't I won't complain but the guy had multiple of chances especially that last one on one even me would have put that away

I'm sorry but what you put up here is laughable... So you expected Sadiq to just come in, walk with the ball and score? Because the opposition came to sell Okpa on the field? I agree there have been cases of super sub in football but it doesn't occur every time and with every sub.

You know, I often wonder how this league rating comes about. There are some second divisions that are better than some first divisions.

When the competition is high and the expectation is huge, assumption will be out of the equation.

Sadiq was the worst player in Nigeria squad follow by Okoye.
Me no dey do tribalism. I be Akwa ibom. I watched Sadiq throughout our afcon journey. Infact before afcon I told people of his exploits in the segunda and then he comes here and play nonsense.

Can you calculate the amount of chances Sadiq had in afcon with his goals?

Nigga probably had nothing less than 8-10 chances in 3 games but could only score one.. that's poor
