Icon4s:Onuachu average with a 35 goal season? Onuachu that has close to 200 career goals in Europe? The day Osimhen gives me a 35 goal season is the day I will finally go and climb Mount Everest naked ![]() |

Icon4s: andrewbaba44:Look at Lukaku's Chelsea form but he will still make the Belgian squad. If Lukaku's was Nigerian you guys will say he shouldn't be called up due to his form . Our top strikers Awoniyi and Sadiq couldn't score goals at the AFCON.. is it against Ghana they will now score. Dessers must at least always make the S.E bench.. for the S.E, Sadiq, Awoniyi and Ihenacho are not it.. In fact Ihenacho hasn't done anything extra ordinary this season but he will get a call up.. |

codemaniacs:Many of us here like Dessers but please don't make us dislike him. What can Dessers do that the invited guys can't? Hold up play? Dribbling? Finishing? Passing? He is a good player, no doubt. However, I don't think he should be in the team ahead of Onuachu for example, and Onuachu wasn't even in the main list. It is tough but what can we do? If we had to carry 3 strikers to the World cup, I would go with Osi, Onuachu and Sadiq. Nacho too but as an SS. I love Awoniyi but his lack of lethality is my problem with him. We know Osimhen will start all games, so we primarily need strikers who are lethal enough to score goals from scraps off the bench and I don't think Awo is that kind of striker. Awo is better as a pure Osimhen replacement because of his work rate like at AFCON but not as a backup. |

andrewbaba44:Now we come to the key issue. Ndidi has not progressed his game ,it's one dimensional and he offers good defensive cover but nothing else. As a consequence he is no longer pivotal to his team and this means his value is dropping. If you make the comparison with Thomas Partey you see Ndidi has work to do. |

Benzema and vinicius could combine for more than 100 goals + assists this season they are currently in 75 |

komekn:The only area Ndidi has not improved is in his shooting. He has improved in everything else from ball carrying to confidence on the ball and even dictating play from deep. He was always good defensively, but he is no longer the one-dimensional defensive midfielder you portray. |

Stormtrooper11:He is in the much lower rated Eredivisie, take out Ajax and the rest of the teams are not high level competition. 6 goals from 20 games is not prolific by any stretch of the imagination. He is not outstanding IMO both in league and club. Is he better than Elijah Adebayo, Luton Town, 13 goals so far in Championship. Or even Afolayan, Udoh and Ladapo all in League one with over 10 goals all three of them. |

drDoom3:Compare him to Fabinho, Declan Rice, Rodri, Jorginho, Kante, Kalvin Philips, Douglas Luiz and the one generating the most interest seems to be Yves Bissouma Why is Ndidi not generating much interest ❓Therein lies answer to the problem. |

codemaniacs:Have you seen what lukaku has done for Belgium ? Don’t just bring lukaku here abeg and compare it to dessers situation that hasn’t done anything for the national team ,lukaku is one of the best in the world no matter what he is going through at the moment We have osimhen ighalo Dennis ,awoniyi didn’t even make the list as he was just at standby so leave him alone abeg ,onuachu also on standby and you expected dessers to make there Make una let us hear word for dessers abeg ,someone that cannot bench onuachu at genk for about 2 seasons Lukaku that’s Belgium highest goal scorer in history that you are using to make example Oga stop this your beer parlour talk abeg |

codemaniacs:Lukaku case is completely and entirely different. Lukaku is a world class striker and has been exceptionally consistent for the past decade at the top of his game. Last season second highest Goal scorer in Seria A . Had been outstanding for Belgium consistently since his first cap. He goes to Chelsea and it's apparent there is something going very wrong. The German players don't pass the ball to him Havertz the worst culprit. And Tuchel and him are not getting on at all. |

drDoom3:Hate is a strong word.. You must be an NFF staff or related to one of the Nigerian players to make such comments. S.E doesn't play to the strengths of onuachu Awoniyi and Ihenacho so they are minus one when it comes to the S.E. |

codemaniacs:Go and look at all of Awoniyi 12 goals in the Bundesliga this season and compare them to Osimhen 7 goals. And then think who will have greater impact in the SE. |

komekn: andrewbaba44:Currently Lukaku's case is not different... Ihenacho is also a good finisher that doesn't start for his club often so we haven't been able to see his own consistency. We currently have many Lukaku's ( in terms of strikers ) in the S.E so we need those that consistently perform for the S.E not for their clubs only. You can't be a Lion at your club then when it's time to play for the S.E you turn to a Cat. |

andrewbaba44:Fulham got relegated but Ademola Lookman got taken up with Leicester, why ![]() Kalvin Philips team has been poor but he as a player had not been, he is still an outstanding DM playing in a team with most players who have lost thier way. Brighton are lower than Leicester but everybody wants Bissouma , why ![]() If it's not obvious to you Ndidi individually has not been outstanding this Season just like his team. |

codemaniacs:Lukaku started playing for Anderlecht at 16 and was a top Goal scorers since that time to date the only blip on his career is his current time with Chelsea. KC is a flop since he has been at Leicester he has had one good season. In his entire career he has never been a top goal scorer in his league and club. From 100 games for Belgium Lukaku has scored near 70 goals that is simply PHENOMENAL. We ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE ANYBODY near to the level of Lukaku. You are talking balderdash, codswallop and nonsensical dross. |

komekn:So ndidi has been poor this season and not outstanding but Gerard Aston Villa was readying a 50 million bid that ndidi and Leicester weren’t interested ![]() Ademola lookman is leipzig Player on loan and not a Fulham player ,even anguissa ran away with another loan ,how many Fulham players where purchased ![]() Lookman didn’t join a big club but Leicester city ,even leipzig is currently bigger and rated better than them . How did Wijnaldum end up at Liverpool from a relegation Newcastle ,please explain that ![]() |

codemaniacs:So dessers will be a lion at the eagles Lukaku is Belgium highest goal scorer ,maybe it’s batshuayi and benteke that should bench him Lukaku has scored 68 goals in 101 games for Belgium and Na that person case you wan compare to dessers ? Same dessers that has scored 6 goals in 20 league games and is not even a starter at his club Na lukaku I blame way no fit into Chelsea system ,you think say na every player dem fit purchase for 100 million |
