Semo is my best... The only thing that makes pounded yam better is that it is natural not poundo type but semoS are laced with preservatives

Why is Fufu not there?
Fufu is Yoruba fast food, it's cheap and sold everywhere foodstuff is, ready-made and hot. It has saved a lot of people from hunger. When you hear neighbors asking for soups, you know they have bought fufu. I didn't like it though, I was an Eba girl, then rice girl but now Iyan girl.

And which one is white gari? Yoruba call it Eba once it's mixed with hot water.

Semo any day, anytime. I also like Delta garri because it has more starch content and draws when you make eba with it. I also like starch and banga soup. I also like akpu with egusi soup. I also like amala but it doesn't hold me for long before I become hungry again.

Eba/garri has this thing it does – it restores my soul, especially if I've missed it for a day or two.
Akpu is too dense and takes too long to digest.
The rest are light-weight.

Potato poundo.

At the moment I'm intrigued by Semovita and egusi though pounded yam is my all time favorite food twice on Monday and friday. Amala and abula comes next

Have you tried cassava flour PUPURU? Easily digest at anytime taken. Goes with any type of soup

This is made from fermented cassava. You would love it wen you try it.. it's like your fufu or white amala
