I have a Toyota Sienna 05…I’m currently using a total oil for servicing pls does it have any effects?thanks for your kind response..I feel the Mobil is overrated don’t know why

That is not the recommended oil by the manufacturer, but you should try and change oil and filter every 2,000 miles.

What’s the recommended oil pls and again how would I know if i have gone 2000 miles already ?

Total oils are good. Buy synthetic type and it should be the recommended weight . You should be fine w2Total 5W30 full synthetic oil.

5w30 is not available in the stable of Total. The current situation in the oil industry is alarming. The customs is deliberately frustrating the importers of good oil to pave way to all these oils that will eventually destroy the cars whose import duties has gone up to the point that Corolla 05 is now sold above 3m.

This is really sad

Any engine oil that you want to buy, please scan the bar code to know the genuineness of the oil. I recently scanned Mannoil and with API SP, GF 6 and the result came out as API SN, GF 5. The situation is frightening. And you will put it in someone else's car and then wahala comes

Mid last year, I went for oil servicing at Total , my usual oil has gone to 12k, fast forward last month, same oil now 14k.....so I decided & bought d whole box .....now it would take a loong time for me to buy more as each gallon is 5 litres & my usual car needs only 3 litres for a change in 5-6 months

Yes all products with the bar code. I once bought 7 speed Mercedes Benz transmission fluid and when I scanned it, it was showing dot 4 plus brake oil. For us in the repairs business, be over watchful is the Logo

Very good move. The prices are soaring. Total also are feeling the impact of the incompetence of the customs at the ports

Bar code scanner on Google and scan anything that has a bar code and check online and if the information is correct, then it is okay
