Just a synopsis.....there was some factions in the State Chapter of the Labour Party at the time, i.e. his Party, so he defected to the then APC citing fractionalization.

The Supreme Court asked does a crisis in the State Chapter of a bank affects the National Body? The SC insisted that fractionalization or division of a Party must happen at the National level before defection can sail.

I'm waiting for the supreme court to finalize this set of pronouncement from the high court. The political class have abused it. Although I know they'll find a way around it later. They don't mind remaining in the party and doing antiparty without openly defecting to another party. Naija.........
