You post with fact, so why did you not post the recent DMO stats but quick to post that EFCC should squeeze money from Obiano from mere statement. Stop deceiving yourself, the agenda you are desperately trying to push has failed.

Anambra State governor, Charles Soludo says he inherited N109 billion debt
Says cash available for the state currently at about N300 million to N400 million.

Former CBN governor, Prof Charles Soludo wins Anambra governorship election

The newly inaugurated Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in an interview with Arise News has stated that he inherited debt to the tune of N109 billion from the previous administration.

While speaking during the interview, the Governor was asked about the funds available to his administration, he started by saying that the audited statement of the state was published on the 31st of December and so is a matter of public record.

Then he went ahead to state that the cash available for the state was about N300 million to N400 million, while the state has a debt of N109 billion. He said however that the fund is the baseline as they would need to look into other contingencies, contractor debts, draw the line and then move on.

So from January to February is enough for accumulation of the debts, incase you don’t know that’s the last data from DMO that can be used to access Obianos era. Fools like you don’t know anything, just hatred to paint Obiano as a failure and then end up sounding foolish

Fake.
I don't blame you. I blame those half cooked self acclaimed media reports who fed you with nonsense. Is it that you did not watch the video or you don't understand simple English.

Soludo clearly stated that they are still doing account and documentation. The N300million is just for one account out of many as at 31st December last year.

As a professional economist, he "Soludo" will not make what is not yet confirmed known to public. It's obvious that Africans do not listen/read to understand but to oppose.

Whether Obiano left more assets that he is given credit for, than liabilities being blown with trumpet now. Prof. Soludo has ZERO EXCUSE not to perform. We all have high expectations of Prof Soludo to come and fix the broken system and he must move on and deliver on his promises.

Anambra today is an oil producing state due to Obiano's efforts. Yet, he did not benefit a penny from all the effort that he invested.

Today you see all sorts of politicians vying for Igbo presidency and crying to take over from Buhari to fix Nigeria. It will amount to 419 if we elect them and they start crying about Buhari's debt instead of working hard to fix the country we elected him to fix. As if they don't know right now that there will be debt and they are still vying to be elected to do things differently and fix the country.

I am glad that Obiano left many solid legacies as opposed to those who would leave liabilities with zero legacies. Some of Obiano's legacies will also generate new sources of revenue for the government. Which was not there during Obiano's administration.

Prof Soludo, with all due respect, i think i speak for many if i state that we will not take this as an excuse. Please find alternative ways to deliver on your promises because disappointing us will be a huge trauma.

I had been thinking the same thing praying that the interview isn't a dress rehearsal to test the waters if this can be a good excuse to renege on the ambitious Solution transformative manifesto.

Moreso that a quasi-Peter Obi online outfit NJENJE MEDIA headed by Tochukwu Ezeoke had been begging for money from its subscribers to bash Obiano as though he didn't achieve anything in the state and left liabilities. They should compare the truly massive debts in other states like Imo, Abia or Enugu where no worthwhile projects were executed and civil servants are owed up to 1 year arrears in some cases to understand that Obiano was a massive blessing to their state.

Soludo is stating figures from the audited report of Dec 31, 2021. It is no secret that the Obiano administration was wasteful and highly corrupt for the better part of 6 years. His Awka flyovers for example were costed at over 13 billion naira from just 1 billion the Obi administration projected. He was spending over 20 billion naira a year or 20% of the budget maintaining a retinue of aides and special advisors. All these figures are openly available from Anambra Ministry of Finance.

The going will be tough for Soludo. The state government receives roughly 4 billion from FAAC and 3 billion from IGR per month. It spends around 3.5 billion on operations and almost 1 billion on debt servicing.

Soludo will not have the capital to do anything significant for at least a year. This is why he was talking taxes removing agbero from streets to shore up revenue and volunteerism. He will inevitably have to beg anambrarians for money via a diaspora fund or adopt a school, adopt a clinic, adopt a road programs.
