I also was misled to imagine that our squad was poor and never going to be good enough. Though I believed that the coaching staff were not doing enough to lift a group of men that have had their confidence shattered a couple of times.

Xavi has provided alot of things the team needed. The mental strength. The recovery of confidence. The trust in each other. Through those outdoor games, fun training sessions that everyone laughed at, he has created the team bond that was clearly lacking in the past. You could see in the game against Madrid that the team thinks like one and act together. That telepathic relationship amongst one another.

They're not the finished product yet but they're moving in the right direction.
