You dont need to declare your refusals from any country. Just list your Visas only and i did the same on my application and only declare my visa from Germany, China, Australia and Turkey. I have my student visa already

Wooow!! Who is this one? I mean not to be disrespectful, but how could you give this kind of advice? This is totally wrong.

1. No, not a 'must'. Explain why you want to study supply chain management and what you plan to do with it subsequently. Also provide details about your skills/knowledge that will allow you complete the program successfully.

2. There is no official limit for study gap when applying for study visa. Although, people generally mention 5 years for postgraduate. The important thing is to be active after study, e.g., working. So, you should be fine.

Goodevening House,
Please I have couple of questions, I really need clarifications.

1. Must my proposed course of study relate to my current work? For example, I am a tax administrator but I want to go for Supply Chain Management and Logistics, although is a Postgraduate Certificate Program. Will this limit my chances?

2. I just read about study gap, I finished schooling 2017 but I have been working since then. Will this study gap also hinder my chances?

Thanks in advance, waiting patiently for a response.

Hello CheChem,

Answers

1) As an applicant, it is expected that the course of study chosen should demonstrate academic or career progression. That's, the course should be an upgrade(advancement) to the degree you already had or job doing. But that doesn't mean one can't do career change. But for a career change to be convincing to the VO, the applicant needs to show extensively why he/she is switching career and or academics and it must be thoroughly convincing. So If you're changing career/academic path, do well to convince the VO very well in your SOP, otherwise your chance is slim though not impossible. Many have changed career paths and got approved.

2) Study gap isn't an issue per say in visa application. It is only in some schools that they state that some numbers of years after school isn't eligible to apply to such school or course. Again, as your are fully employed from the time of graduation, it shows that you have been active and not idle. So having a job stated as reason for such gap has covered you. You don't have any issue at all with study gap. Study gap is an issue if you were idle those period with no job or education to back up those years.

All the best.

Please I've already submitted my application but I noticed I checked on NO instead of YES when I was asked about been denied of visa from another country or territory... Because I've applied for a UK standard visa lately last year and I was denied though till date I'm still yet to know why(those an agent was involved) and also on my Canada application they asked if I've done IELTs before I checked on NO instead YES I did IELTS but my band score was 5.5 so my thoughts was this thing might not be necessary... Please what can I do asap to amend this part as my application is still on background check I submitted my application on March 1st and did biometric and updated March 9th and my school is resuming by MAY...and I joined this platform about 2weeks ago.. Please what can I do asap ?? Please I need help cry cry cry I'm really begging please , please people of God
@Frankrobbn1 @Teemenzo
@makano @Anon123 and others ... I need serious guide I don't mind paying for services I'm at my last edge of hope, I've been praying to God for this to work and I know he will do it and that's why he strucked my heart with this so that I can make amendment before the final decision comes up... I've spent so much on trips and I don't want to end up with the same result

Hello Treasure134,

Someone had same concern with you some pages back. Lucky your application is just a few weeks old. What you need to do now is refill the form (correctly this time around and don't let anxiety lead you to making another mistake), send back via webform and or email with a little explanation about the mistake.

As for the IELTS, it's not even a necessity for visa application and I don't think it carries any weight when you say you dont have it when actually you did wrote IELTS. NSE route isn't feasible again

1. As regards choice of career/academic progression. A Judge at the Federal Court of Canada had told Visa Officers to refrain from unnecessary career counseling and refusing applications on such grounds. A statement in his ruling below.

Second, I disagree with the Respondent’s argument that the decision is otherwise reasonable. Having reviewed the Applicant’s educational plan myself, it is clear that at no point does she ask for career counseling advice. Yet this Visa Officer apparently fancied the opportunity to assume the role of career counsellor and opine that the Applicant’s intended studies in Canada would not enhance her work for her brother. Such extraneous considerations make it obvious that the Visa Officer engaged in an unreasonable review of the evidence.

You can also read up the case for proper understanding and using the court case/file number to back up your claims.

Hello…..
During my UK visa application on 14th March, I uploaded a police clearance certificate that expired on 7th March and I have done my biometrics already on 16th.
It’s a skilled worker visa with CoS. Can this make my visa to be declined?
I’m really scared…….

No, its not PTA. he was talking about upkeep. you need to have opened an account abroad so they can pay the upkeep into your account. For PTA, you pick up cash before you travel

The issue of IELTS is not a big deal. You can leave that out.

As for your NO response, I will advise your send a letter of explanation via webform immediately. Explain the UK refusal and state the period, even if you don't have the full details. Then explain how you made the mistake and how you noticed it.

Good evening everyone,

So I found a custodian for my nephew, who's planning on applying for a study visa I already downloaded the custodian declaration form but I'm kinda stuck in some parts
In the document it says I have to get it notarized in a public notary court,
So my question is how do I get it notarized do I need to print it out or what.
Please see below images for clarification.

What you need to do is fill both pages online, then print it out.
Have the page 2 it signed by the parents or guardian, give to a Notary public to sign.
Leave the page 1 unsigned, its for the custodian and Canadian Notary.
Scan both pages and email to the custodian. He or she will sign their bit and give to a Canadian lawyer.

Then it can be rescanned and emailed back to you.
