I saw one today in my estate here in Lagos. My estate has a lot of beautiful flowers.

When they see people chopping even snakes, why won’t butterflies pick race commot.

It is not chemicals, their habitats is being destroyed. How.many flowers do you have around your home or your street there, and not jus any flower biko, real flowers. That's what keeps the butterflies and also you need know that butterflies they migrate too.

Global warming, environmental degradation and pollution is flushing multiple species and indeed the whole earth down the toilet.

They don't have to be sprayed directly.
Chemicals found in most pesticides leave residue that often takes decades to break down.
The aerosols fall to the ground and hug the habitats of these bugs.
They may not be killed outright but become sterile (and this is increasingly evident in human beings as well) and as such cannot offspring the next gen. Over time the bug population collapses.
Funny enough it is the dangerous ones that abide and thrive, developing resistance to these pesticides over time

I saw one today.
I do see them on many occasions.
A times, they do perch on my body and i do leave them, cuz they are so beautiful.
One of them flew into my room and landed on my mattress and it took picture of it, though deleted it afterwards.
When you stay close to nature[ natural habitat ], you will always see them.

Butter is very expensive now, so if Butterfly comes, what will it eat?

On beautiful black butterfly entered my office last 2 weeks... And I played with it..

Like a month back, around a bitterleaf plant that has flowers.

I only dey see them for my niece textbook like A for apple B for butterfly
