A freekick must not always have a wall formed. Seems the actual definition of freekick in association football is lost on you.

One can get a freekick anywhere on the pitch. And most are taken without walls formed.

The only reason walls are formed for FKs close to the goal is because the Opposition don't wanna make the taker have an easy strike-route towards goal.

So yes, Nacho hit a FK goal. Rest. No be everything you must argue. grin

From what you snapshot, it’s not a FK because there was no play. It’s just a shooting drills my good friend. grin

Oga just admit what you said does not follow

Has Nigeria not failed to qualify before for world cup and the players were criticised and continue playing national team football afterwards I was even thinking you were going to mention Turkey that missed a penalty.... that player would have been in serious trouble if it was Nigeria or some africa countries like Cameroon like they did to Webo in 2006 world cup qualification I think

Ohh thanks for the correction

The owner of those snapshots and video is modovictorekene and he clearly called it a freekick because that is what it was. He was there LIVE unlike you who is just capping from your room.

Freekicks involve dead balls not so? Was the ball not dead? Was the ball in motion before it was hit? I have already defined FKs for you but you must argue blindly as usual.

Like I already said. Rest. It's not everything you jump into and must have an opinion about especially when it makes no sense. Rest forgiveness. REST.

My good friend, that wasn’t a Fk according to your definition. It was just shooting drills and it’s the best way to describe or define what Iheanacho did. grin

Abi shooting drills doesn’t involve dead balls sometimes too? My good friend. Rest the matter and shame devil. grin

Actually they are the once that are been intimidated by the caliber of name we parade

Their biggest name ayaw is even out

I'm not really referring to that though..I'm talking about the on field antic they may employ to intimidate our players.. We equally have players who are mentally capable of withstanding their aggressiveness too... Osimhen, Balogun,Dennis, Onyeka...

Okay, after this World Cup other goalkeepers will be tested.

Please, let us make sure there is a list of these other goalkeepers we plan to test.

For now, you will not see anybody new, that much is certain. We are not in the building phase, Rohr used up the last one.

The next one will come after the World Cup, and I can tell you free of charge that NPFL goalkeepers will still not be considered as long as the NPFL remains in dire straits and Pinnick is NFF president.

Why not? Are we trying to shut the doors already?

Uzoho was new but he was the first choice in that World Cup.

Do you see why I like you, Safari.

Nne, keep breaking it down for them. Forgiveness and many folks here tend to have a very simplistic view of everything. To them, it almost always about corruption or tribalism. And they always try to compare the situation at Super Eagles with what’s obtained at the football clubs in Europe. Talk about apples and oranges.

Explained FKs with evidence. He still argues in the absurd.

Source that was live and direct called it a FK. He still caps.

Why not what? I don't understand the question.

If you are asking why not get a new goalkeeper, like I said, you have to bring a list of goalkeepers to test. You have a limited testing time, even worse if none of the tests work out. So, time you would have used to make your backline grow in understanding is what they will use for testing people that will probably not do anything.

Perhaps, if Nigeria fails to qualify for the World Cup, we can begin that testing immediately.

Anyway, like I said, as long as Pinnick is head of that Federation, any player you are suggesting better be based abroad.

OK, then, let’s hope he’ll bury one or two free kicks tomorrow. We need to go for broke tomorrow and put the game out of reach for bredas. I think it’ll be risky to come back from Ghana with a tie.

But if we can come back with a two goal lead, the return leg at home will be a mere formality. We have a chance to put away the game tomorrow.

TheSuperNerd:
The way some of you argue here is very hilarious. Probably one of the reasons some don't take this thread as seriously as before.

The point is Kelechi scored a FK from some distance in training against Uzoho. Wall or no wall, it is still a freekick. Understand what a freekick is and learn.

Cease trying to use assumptions of No wall/wall to ignore the simple fact that it is still a freekick.

Also, this same Iheanacho has scored a few Freekicks even with a wall. His quality from a FK is not in doubt. So your presumptive assertion is off tangent.

Correction Lookman and Dennis are modern day forward players not just Wingers. Football has moved on.

Lookman has scored double the goals of KC but with the same number of games. Will he now be called a Lethal finisher like KC ❓

I wonder how you can learn how to analyse football without being clearly bias. Tomorrow you will start shouting others are bias when you are the king of it.

You are the only one that does not understand the importance of playing time but try to claim a pro.

First feel of the baba yara stadium, Kumasi.... yesternight... despite the quantity of lighting units provided at the stadium, it still looked as dark as fvck by default...I guess the excessively dark skin of their people dimmed the intensity of the stadium's lights.

Meanwhile, I'm really happy Okoye won't be in goal(don't ask me why)...but I fervently prayed for that all through February and March and my prayer got answered.

grin Ghana eh.

Same Ghana some of our fellow Nigerian countrymen and Ghanaians claim to be better than our nation-state.
Ghana that has the worst performing currency in the world after the Russian rubles.
Ghana that takes over two years to renovate a domestic airport.
Ghana that have majority of their dual carriage roads only in ACCRA.
Ghana that can't even compete with Anambra state to talk of Lagos. Onitsha would give Tema and Kumasi a run for its money.

Please, beloved Nigerians lets stop all these hypes and fears of the mediocre Ghanaian black stars and support our darling Super Eagles to whoop the hell outta the Ghanaians. They aren't worth the worry.
