Eguavoen should be what Chris Hughton is to Ghana.. Let Amuneke take to the sidelines
AndSunGorilla:
Not yet uhuru. AE will still play 4-2-4. The game could go either way in Abuja, may luck shine on us. If we qualify, AE should return to his old role.

I have not been commenting because I don't have confidence in Eguaveon's team. The little confidence I have is because of Amunike. Eguaveon is clueless and limited

So how special did Ghana's midfield look in the second half? grin

An average European team with basic passing would beat this Ghanaian team easily. Link up play was missing in the first half but better towards the end. Ghana played with their hearts and were quite physical who put off our players.
That said we move. Uzoho had a good game.

Hopefully, injury forces Eguaveon to play Onyeka in the second league

Hopefully, we see Dennis in Abuja, instead of Simon/Chukwueze.

I was very much impressed with Uzoho and Balogun in this match. Very solid, very sturdy.

The game on Tuesday is ours to lose. It's our stadium, our crowd, and as long as Buhari catches a strong case of diarrhoea that ensures he can't leave Aso Rock, we should be on our way to Qatar

I know the kind of noise Ghanaians made pre-match. There is nothing we did not see on social media, and not to mention all the mobilization and crowd formations, the intimidation tactics did not work. On our turf next week, we die on the line.

Don't forget after the ANC, even Ghanaians wrote off their team. Let's be honest, we thought we were going to whip Ghana.
whether they good or no good the fact is that they couldn't win. That is the best play Ghana can offer.

Not really. The age-old rivalry brings a lot of other factors into our games.

Whoever instructed the Ghanaians to rely on Usain bolt approach obviously studied us in the past. A pity The Oyinbo Wall were just ready for any of it.

My prediction. I see a goalless draw (0 - 0) against the black stars on Friday..

The return leg? I don't know who's going to win. The game could go either way.

Why didn't I play this game? Lol

E be like you never see Ghanaians this last week.

We thought we were going to whip Ghana BEFORE we lost to Tunisia, after that, everything has been up in the air.

I don't know and don't wanna talk about other players but I think, same way I stated during the last ANC that Chukwueze is retrogressing and should be excused from the NT as soon as possible. He doesn't seems to add anything meaning to SE matches anymore and the earlier another player is made to takeover his position in the SE, the better for us all.

Blame the coach.

France vs Ivory Coast currently 1-1. Damn we need to understand that midfield dictate play. We're too dependent on wing play. It's negative.

If we want to win, can Nacho pls start from the bench pls? I imagine him coming from the bench in this game. And it was going to be fun if it happened that way due to the tired legs the Ghanaians had already.

Looked like Lookman struggled with the pitch. Why the falling? Very talented squad and AE just looks at allll of them and comes with the least lethal formation.

Hope Eguavoen isn't a one trick pony when it comes to tactics.

Using same formation and personnel from AFCON made the job easy for Ghana.

It will be really dissapointing if this shitty Ghana team edges us.

Which foreign coach have you ever hired in the last 20 years that had a game plan? Rohr? Please stop this bullshit.

The first thing the NFF should do, if we’re lucky to qualify, is get a real coach. Eguaveon is useless and clueless as a coach. No game pla, no tactic no system. Just keep pumping balls forward and hope for the best

This 35 year old Ivorian gk must be good to still be their GK or they don’t have other options

I remember his school boy error against Sierra Leone at the afcon ,anyway he has been doing well against France so far
