I disagree. Rohr was burning us with negativity. While Eguavoen still plays offensively.

Eguavoen is an extension of Rohr. He needs to play to our strength, formation wise.

Sticking to this 424/442 doesn't work for our players and is easy to figure out...

With away goals rule, Nigeria can't be comfortable until the team opens up a two goals lead in Abuja.

Any score draw will see our bredas fly their wack players to Qatar to make up the numbers.

Would have felt a lot better if we had at least an away goal.
we got a point in a hostile situation still una no Dey satisfied

If em easy to score wetin mk Ghana no score?

Like I posted on Twitter, the Super Eagles would have won the game if the team that ended the game had started. That tells you how clueless Eguaveon is, he doesn’t even know his best team yet.

It would have been great with Ndidi.. But Etebo and Onyeka held their own

Here’s what I just posted on Twitter:

Quick question for @thenff and @PinnickAmaju: can Eguaveon be taken off this team before the return leg on Tuesday? Hand the team over to Amuneke and Samson Siasia to complete the job.

That’ll be the best decision for us, if we really want to win on Tuesday.

O pari
Then after Tuesday you shift your blames to Amuneke and Siasia.

Give kudos to d team and d technical crew nig/Ghana game has always been a 50/50 chance... Playing under DT intense pressure from d teeming crowd is not easy..we could have won with a slim victory, no thanks to simon going for power instead of placement...we came in late to d party though..however going into d 2nd leg,we shld avoid d Ghanaians scoring first cool

No more away goal

Are you sure about this?

This rule is for UEFA club games, not so sure it is same for World Cup qualifiers

There were many counter attack opportunities he had. Never made use of any. Then suddenly he will be Ronaldo in Abuja grin
but you do know good coaching makes a lot of difference ? Ur coach has been with the team 4 or 5 months now but i dont see and technical or tactical improvement but not bragging but i saw a lot of improvement in our team. Anything can happen.. Ryt now u have home advantage but its still up in the air.

After all the talk about Bassey.
He was just running like a headless chicken.
He is no where close to Sanusi in terms of ability.

rubbish talk. how e take concern us, the bottom line is that Ghana couldn't win after all the noise. Their end product was wack.

I think the bottom line is that Nigeria failed to beat Ghana. The weakest Ghanaian team i have seen in a while. This Ghanaian team has a lot of weaknesses, but our coach can't see it to exploit.

Thunder fire you. Ighalo would had done much better today but the main problem was the midfield. We need 3 midfielders on the pitch

Thunder is the roar from lightning Sparks. Lightning is the one that can fire people not thunder..

Lightning fire you more. The main problem was the wingers..

midfield was too thin unless you expected Bonke to play DM, CM and AM at the same time grin grin

the team played well the only misfit in the team was iheanacho though Moses and chukwueze weren’t in the game, both were seriously man marked

Another player that almost made me develop BP is ekong. That guy needs to be dropped to the bench because omeruo and ajayi are miles better than him

Aina is another that had a stellar performance

Nope. I am sure Amuneke will get the job done if he’s given total control. As for Egu, he’s just Gernot Rohr 2.0

Going by your statement, in November Ghana will be as good as Germany grin

You are suffering from new coach syndrome. In Abuja we see what he can put up.

u sabi watch ball at all?

Eguavoen subbing him off helped the team because it was obvious that sanusi was tired and the Ghanaians wanted to penetrate through his position

Bring in Calvin was a master class by the coaching crew.

Actually, Rohr started very well but got frustrated after the NFF burned him during his contract renewal.

He handled Kudus far better than Zaidu did. Kudus was disgracing Zaidu on that left wing.

When I, being a realist highlighted the shortcomings of this Nigerian team and the coach, some people called me a whining woman though I empathize with their next to zero knowledge of football. Some said we have a very powerful team and called names like osimhem, Dennis, lookman, Simon , iheanacho etc. But we all know that the better team on the night was Ghana despite being in the lowest period in their football history. Even if we manage to qualify is this the contingent that we will parade at the world cup? Now Ghana is going into return match with the possibility of exploiting the away goal rule to their advantage.GFood luck Eguavon super eagles. Like I predicted the midfield was dominated by Ghana

you should be worried that you guys lost the opportunity to win the match at your home front but with the look of things it seem you are very comfortable drawing the game at home

Well let’s see what happens next 4 days

I don't understand all these noise. Playing Ghana whether shit or no shit team has never been easy. Even when we had our shitty team it was not easy for then also. These boys went to Ghana in front of intimidating crowd to pick a draw its commendable. I believe the coaches must have learnt and injury will force some tactical adjustment. Besides Ghana had every thing to prove , new coach factor and all that. We are picking this ticket.

Really? Even the commentator hailed his interceptions at some point.

I wonder how we all watch the same game but return with widely varying opinions.

We should abandon this 4-4-2. It is not working. Play Etebo, Onyeka, Aribo behind Simon, Osimhen and Dennis.

These 2 horrible teams will be eliminated in the group stage of the World Cup and I don’t care about the World Cup. My main goal is to beat Ghana. 2 bad teams
