you should be worried that you guys lost the opportunity to win the match at your home front but with the look of things it seem you are very comfortable drawing the game at home

Well let’s see what happens next 4 days
yeah anything can happen, you guys now have the home advantage but we have the midfield so we will see what happens

Of course Iheanacho is not a world-class player, neither was he. Nobody who knows his onions mentions Iheanacho when talking about Guardiola's issues with African players, so using Iheanacho as an example is not useful, sincerely.

Now, I see why people guardiola toss iheanacho or doesn’t rate west African players. It isn’t racism at all at all.

uzoho made only one good safe same as their keeper when he denied Simon
True. The first save was relatively poor. That's something I have seen Maduka grab with his hands. Wondered why they made noise here.

The carpet save he made was very good. Great save. Funnily it wasn't really talked about here.

As soon as it was confirmed that Maduka wasn't coming, I knew we stood a chance.

Maduka should be learning Uzoho

One of the things wrong with Eguavoen wingers is his over reliance on Simon and chukwueze..

They will receive pass with clear space ahead of them and instead of them to run and pass or cross into the box or run and cut in then pass or shoot they will wait for the defender to catch up then try to dribble. Simon was very guilty of doing this in tonights match.
let's be factual. You're right. But did you notice there was barely any green shirt available to do something tangible when attacking? Aina crossed to one player in box 18. I know he was doing his part but if bodies aren't where they should be, na horror. And that's what happened tonight.

That's what Ghana did today.
Will Eguavoen start the 2nd leg the same way? I DOUBT

He started the 424 today after that Tunisia loss shows that he hasn’t learnt his lesson. The 2 teams will be eliminated at the group stage if any of them qualifies but I don’t want Ghana to eliminate us

Na so Ghanaians no gree us hear word about Partey since, on our end, everywhere Osimhen name dey pop up.

See today, Partey we no see, Osimhen no shine.

Anyway, Tuesday is another day

He actually changed it, yet someone here said he should have stuck to the 4 2 4 formation. It's easy to say that after the fact. Very wonderful suggestion grin

Lol Bassey did his bit, but he would cost us. The boy's football brain never mature, hence, he should never be picked when Zaidu is fit.

which midfield do you hv? U guys looked superior in the middle just because of the formation our coach deployed by playing 2 midfielder against your 3

If he fielded etebo and bonke or Onyeka with aribo as a 10 we would hv dominated the midfield which was evident when the duo of aribo and bonke were subbed for Etebo and Onyeka

In the few minutes Onyeka played he bossed the midfield even almost creating a chance from a cross after turning 3 of your players but unfortunately it was nodded out by your defender with the duo of lookman, iheanacho and osihmen waiting to head the ball in

This Ghana team is the worst team Ghana even had since 2006 till date

No hope for this team of qualifying for this year World cup tournament again.

Thank God 2026 world cup there will be expansion of teams Africa will be given more sloth so this Ghanaians team should start making preparation towards it but Qatar 2022 they should forget it
hahahaaha a very weak ghana team held a strong nigerian to a draw and did better than them and you think u have already qualified to the world cup ?

There's something about Uzoho that makes me more confident in his abilities than our Tokunbo. cheesy Not that i think Uzoho is particularly great, cos i see some fundamentals lacking.

Most of you here are complaining about chukwueze.....okay when lookman and Dennis came what did they do. How about moses simon who lost most of the balls, but at least chukwueze gave a good pass to aribo and a good cross to oshimen....
U guys def.

Like I posted on Twitter, the Super Eagles would have won the game if the team that ended the game had started. That tells you how clueless Eguaveon is, he doesn’t even know his best team yet.

O pari

Lol baba Icon, you no give credit to Ghana at all. They are no push-over either. They have one of the best midfielders in Partey and a solid No. 10 in Kudus. Even Afena Gyan troubled our attack.

Beating them in Kumasi was never going to come easy. We look forward to the Abuja encounter. I really do hope Eguavon starts a midfield trio of Etebo, Onyeka and Aribo. Onyeka came in and did more in few minutes than Iheanacho did the 90 minutes.

Cheers.

It’s not even about being world class but football basics. The guy a clinical finisher and can occasionally assist. But, his football basics is atrocious

In that situation, I expected chukwueze Ihenacho aribo and Simon to all start running towards box so that at least if they defend it then S.E players can recover the ball and shoot..

That's how s.e scored against Egypt.

If we want to win, can Nacho pls start from the bench pls? I imagine him coming from the bench in this game. And it was going to be fun if it happened that way due to the tired legs the Ghanaians had already.

Looked like Lookman struggled with the pitch. Why the falling? Very talented squad and AE just looks at allll of them and comes with the least lethal formation.
Does it mean that nobody noticed and that I get eyes problems. That pitch seems overgrown and it affected eagles play. It wasn't just osimhen and lookman that were falling al over the place, and the ball moved too slowly on the pitch.
