Yorubas over ran the thread celebrating and insulting igbos. What I noticed about yorubas is that whatever the outcome of any political calculation they will still celebrate and spin the narrative to suit that outcome and insult igbos.

Please my fellow forumites. What exactly are Yorubas celebrating against igbos.

The reason for the celebration is because they (south west) got lesser post.

Why should that be a reason for celebration?

The region with lesser positions usual get the presidential ticket in order to balance power.

When Oyegun got chairman (south) Buhari got President (North).

So, regions fighting for president will deliberately avoid the big party positions.

As it stands, incase anything happens to the chairman, the second in succession to Adamu is an Ibo man...deputy national chairman south. This knocks SE and North out of the party's presidential ticket.

We have won a national election thrice in the history of Nigeria, something no Igbo man dead or alive has ever done.

Solomon Lar, Barnabas Gemade, Audu Ogbeh, Ahmadu Ali? were they from the south?

Vincent Ogbulafor and Nwodo were party chairmen btw 2008-2010...under President Yaradua.
