Japan is no more a US ally than Ukraine. Russia have already drawn their red line which is, no NATO country should supply Ukraine with fighter jet. We're yet to see NATO cross that line. All the countries that promised to send jets backed away

Trust me, if Russia had the same influence on the world as the US has now, China will be working against them too. If Russia has the "influence" of the US, it will not be an headache for China. As the Russians are known to always mind their business most of the time. Its the US that puts her nose in other countries anus and complains it smells awful.

There is nothing like the leader of the world. That notion is what's getting the world into wars. Stay in your country and allow the umbrella body of the world UN which all countries are signatories to worry about peace and security.

You said sheer numbers and historical accomplishment. There is strength in number. Thats firstly,secondly, what china had accomplished in the last 50 years, if your country Nigeria had achieved 5% of it, I beleive you will respect her more. Even the US that you claim to be defending here dare not refer to China as mere numbers and historical accomplishment. China is not looking to become the leader of the world, she is not working hard for that. But her enviable achievement has propelled her towards such position and that explains the hatred of the US who had always moved around the world as the self appointed IGP of the world, self appointed leader of all organization of the world. She is for the first time seeing a new antagonist in place of China, hence the problems.

China has no bone to keep with anyone. Her unprecedented development in tech, science, against poverty and good education has already vindicated her. Even Japan that committed war crimes in China had received the pardon of Chinese people even before official apologies. China has moved on.

To China and Russia, these two are longterm allies. Their relationship is healthier than that of US,Britain and France. Cos Britain and France must never say no to a US directive.

Where as China and Russia will usually have a discussion over an issue and reach a consensus. They are equal in friendship and not master to slaves like the relations with the US which many nations are really tired of.

Every nation want their sovereignty respected, India showing us that example by canceling meetings with British Diplomat over her refusal to place harsh sanctions on Moscow.

The world is wiser, US should tread carefully.

He should be careful with the Asians. The region called SIBERIA was a part of Northern Asia captured by Russia long ago. I'm sure China will be interested in claiming it back someday and would be backed gladly by other Asian neighbors. The region is wasting away as it is only sparsely populated by Russians. They mainly use it for their military drills.

There is no US-Ukraine alliance. There is only partnership. But US have ratified alliance with Japan that it will defend Japan against aggression from anywhere. That is why Japan did not militarize.
