All politics is local. What is Aregbesola’s Fate In Politics Now That Sen. Omisore Is APC National Secretary? Both hail from Ife/Ijesha Senatorial Zone. Aregbesola should want to be a Senator. Only recently he lost his other political base at Alimosho months back.

Aregbesola is gradually dying politically. His political influence in Osun state consequent to Omisore's emergence as APC national secretary has dwindled drastically.
It's the world of politics, nothing is predictable, let's see what happens.

And besides, don't take people who criticize Tinubu and his ambition on nairaland serious, no ballot boxes on the internet. Flee from bitter people.

What lies ahead of both of them is struggle to become godfather from their home senatorial district to Osun in general. Aregbesola even has upper hand, being a former governor (not deputy).

Aregbe is the next political gladiator of south west. Tinubu tried and he must be commended for his political masterclass, but he jonzed himself big time when he decided to step down from his enviable position as a kingmaker to wanting to become a king. After 2023 watch how south west governors will begin to challenge jagaban. His ambition destroyed him.
