Death on the Nile. 7.5/10

I wonder why it wasn't called deaths on the Nile. Gives me the knife out vibes. Great detective story.

This Death on the Nile is a reboot of the original Death on the Nile in late 1970s. So, actually, Knives Out should be the one giving you the Death on the Nile vibes if you'd watched Death on the Nile first. Agatha Christie wrote the novel over 40 years ago and the movie was adapted from it way before Knives Out was ever thought of.

is it a remake? I know I saw one way back during secondary school days. Agatha Christie poirot or so.

Yes, it's a remake. The first one was produced in 1978.

Wrong. Only the first one is Margot.

Death on the Nile is just a copy of Murder on the Orient, not only a sequel...the similarities are too much jare

Both Murder on the Orient and Death on the Nile are movie adaptations of the same novels name by famous novelist, Agatha Christie. It follows similar patterns but I wouldn't call it a copy.

I watched that movie about 2 years ago...
You honestly can't expect me to remember anything about it...
All I remember was my opinion on it and that it had lots of issues...
It's not a memorable movie

You can say it's not a memorable movie to you, but you're wrong on it having many plot holes. Re-watch it and list about 3 of the the so-called many plot holes.

sorry but I won't rewatch a very average movie just cause I want to bring out the numerous plotholes and failures for you...
You said you just watched it...reflect on it yourself for 15mins and you should by yourself notice all the many issues

Just finished Death on the Nile 8/10

I went in with low expectations, expecting another Knives Out, a movie which claims to be smart but ends up being a joke...
While Knives Out tried too many things and twists till it became a mess with numerous plotholes, Death on the Nile was consistent...it focused on what it needed and remained so instead of having so many twists that led nowhere...

Tbh I suspected the killer right from when it happened but I had no solid proof but the way the story was uncovered actually was good.

I'll also rate Uncharted which I watched over a month ago ...
Uncharted is a popcorn movie...good for cinematic experience with not much focus on plot...

Uncharted 8/10 for Enjoyment
But 2/10 for plot

the way you guys throw 9/10 on average shows is baffling
Are you rating based on enjoyment alone or plot included?
Have you watched it

I think I rated it 7/10 or 6.5/10...
It's okay...but nothing special

Overboring. Winning an award doesn't necessarily mean a movie or a actor is superb.

Knives out doesn't have "numerous plot holes"
Yes it doesn't take itself seriously sometimes but the story was straight, unless you didn't understand it.

A Few Good Men (1992). 8/10

One of the best Tom Cruise's flick I've seen. Definitely an Oscar worthy legal drama. Cruise was at his absolute best.

Forget it, most movies of these days ain't got nothing tangible compared to golden oldies like this.

I never said I just watched it. I watched it the year it came out and there's nothing to reflect on. You made the accusation that it had many plot holes but yet to list just 3 out of the many plot holes. The onus is on you not on me. Knives Out does not have many plot holes, unless you didn't understand the movie you watched.

His claims are false and he knows it that's why he can't prove it.

I understand the story perfectly...but tried to add many twists but failed ...
Trust me I love stories with twists but they need to stay consistent

I cannot go back to watch a movie I watched years ago...
The movie is very unmemorable and not worth the time rewatching...
I watch 100s of movies and series and I don't keep memory of anything not worthwhile...I only remember my reaction and initial review of it

Whether it's unmemorable, not worth anyone's time or the worst movie of all time, one thing you can never prove is that it has numerous plot holes. There are facts and there are opinions. I've got free 20k to give you if you can list 5 plot holes from the numerous plot holes you said it has. That's how sure I am that you don't know what you're talking about.

OK, thanks man. Agatha Christie never disappoints. Will check it out. Loved the first one to bits. I doubt it would beat the first one.
