It was too late when we discovered that her only source and hope of feeding was her daughter, unfortunately she died last night leaving the poor old lady behind.

The condition of living in kogi state is very poor to the rate that people don't remember another person's problem anymore because they too had nothing.
Please am begging on behalf of this old lady and other windows and orphans out here please do something for them if you are able.

She lost her daughter but her greatest doom is hunger she is going to face.
I couldn't stand her pain and cry I was only able to reach out 500 naira for food. But I told her everything will be fine.

What makes you think this particular problem is in anyway unique to those in Kogi state?

In a country where children are used as retirement plans, how do you not see how happens almost everyday around the country that is Nigeria?

Nigeria has about 10.5 million orphans roaming its streets every day as it is, and this problem is not going away anytime soon unless society starts shifting away away the foolishness of their traditions to embrace commonsense enmasse.

In a country where children are considered a retirement plan, and a welfare system is near non existent, you don't need a war or calamity of such magnitude to see this happening...

The number of homeless individuals in Nigeria is currently put at about 24.4 million total. The number of homeless orphans alone is currently estimated at about 8.6 million, add to that the many runaways including kids with family who no longer want them and you are looking at close to if it more than 10.5 million.

Ofcourse with no real record keeping system in Nigeria, all these are guesstimate based off of the little that is known in this case.

Let us help this woman we can give anything like cloths foods shoes money anything to help her she just lost her daughter
