Uzoho have never and can never be a good goalkeeper. That man is an untalented age cheat, stealing a living claiming to be a goalkeeper. He should be locked up in a guard room at the Sani Abacha barracks.

While at it, Okoye should be declared persona non grata by the authorities. The sanctions can only be lifted if he stopped parading himself as a goalkeeper

Pinick must be arrested and be made to face a panel for fraud. They should give him the Mompha treatment at Efcc.

Warm congratulations to Ghana. Akwaba black stars.

I don't want to call Eguavoen a poor tactician.
He was not just outclassed, he was in want of ideas.

Have you forgotten that I said Eguavoen showed the mentality of a loser when he talked about his sleepless nights spent in the effort to draft the 28 man list. I said that it shouldn't be so. Life is predictable, we spot patterns, and we tell.
Eguavoen was clearly in want of ideas.

Coming to tell us the boys tried, is akin to saying i spent sleepless nights drafting the 28 man list. Efforts without intelligence will make excuses and failure. Eguavoen was outclassed.

Dude also knows subconsciously that he will fail and you can tell from his speeches, his excuses etc.
You guys should for once listen.

thanks bro ! It was a tight game, your coach should gone for two strikers in the second half but he brought ighalo in too late
that's him for you, he use his own hand to spoil every work Rohr started

I'll be here as long as it's very active, but if it goes dim. I'll walk too sadly.
eagles will bounce back, players like Musa Balogun Omeruo Ighalo will quit, we just need to add more midfielders and we’ll be fine

yes it all about the tactics, when ighalo came in he freed osimhen and he got a few chances but the crosses too werent good enough
The one's sending the good crosses have been removed for Simon moses. Even that set piece. I tot Ekong was waiting for him to roll it for a cannon shot.

Rohr has to go, there is nothing to regret about it. Rohr tried but he's exhausted tactically. What's the Essence bokoraharam football when we aren't parading Bandits as Players.

We missed out, fine. Let's start afresh with Amuneke. Capital No to foreign Coach.
Start afresh with Amunekehuh

Funny enough, lookman agreed to play for us because of the world cup
not rubbing it in, you have good players, with a good coach, your team will be transformed. ....

We need to rebuild.

Our goalkeeping department needs an overhaul, we have to scout good keepers and get a proper goalkeeping coach.

At least all these old cargo (Musa, Ighalo and co.) will get cleared out.

We have to remove sentiments from our selections. Guys like Akpoguma should be in the team for example.

We need a coach with a proven record. No more patch patch vibes coaches. Otto Addo had a clear gameplan he trained his players with over both legs, we unfortunately didn't. His plan was clear, use home advantage to press and try to win, away score early and play for a draw. The most important thing is he had his players play as a team, not as individuals. It is shocking that our players cannot link up with each other on the pitch, just a bunch of individuals trying to make something happen.

Look at teams like Ukraine play, you find it hard to single out one player. They attack together, press together, move together. We don't have that and it is painful.
Good observation, but it takes good coaches who have learnt the modern game to achieve this , all this new tactics like ball possession and retention, gengepressing , defending in a block, using fill backs as playmakers , have to be studied and then you analyse which pattern suits your available boys

Am still of the opinion that we never replaced Victor Moses, he was our spark when he played , no winger has taken the mantle from him when you left. Chukwueze plays like a primary school boy, while Moses Simon final ball is too poor.

That’s what our wingers are not good at. So it’s really no point. We could have built a team that supports our forward at the midle. We are paying for Rohr’s sins. And Eguavoen have been part of the problem.

You are still a whining woman. Onyeka was injured
It is people with similar mentality and iq like you that are response for the disgrace Nigeria has suffered today. You are an illusionist. You dwell on things and hopes that will never happen that don't exist. You lack the ability to logically think and see the end from the beginning. You lack the ability to see the big picture. Complex analysis is beyond your intellectual ability. It is better to be a whining woman who's whining came to past, than to be a day dreamer living on a fools paradise, whose Illogical optimism never materialised. Nigerian coach is clueless. Ghana has a far superior coaching crew and more expensive one, we have no midfield. If you feel that by packing attackers with no creative midfielder is the way to go, then you know nothing about football. Ghana is the weakest team in the playoffs, they haven't won their last 6 matches and will crash out at the first round of the world cup. I'm a realist, Nigeria wasn't prepared to qualify. Why deceive myself. Did Nigeria eventually qualify? It's like a student who doesn't prepare for an exam and yet is hopeful to outperform those doing due diligence

Let me reiterate what Jihday said, you never learn any lesson.

A local coach that will turn to Football Agent in addition to being terrible at coaching.

Maybe Rohr was right, we don't have quality players at the moment.

Same error took us out of AFCON and World Cup qualifier.

Until we get a good GK, we don't have a team.

I was one of those who wanted rohr out and I stand by it. But I remember an interview rohr had with a Nigerian journalist just before the Russia world cup, he lamented about the lack in depth and quality of the national team. This has been our bane and it keeps showing all the time.

A typical Nigerian side should have both physicality and technical prowess which you see in other top African sides but missing in our darling super eagles. How can we win big games? I never believed in all these foreign born players. Apart from Victor Moses with his physical prowess which the entire world knows what have these other foreign born offered the National team? It's time we have akpu bred players with skills back in our national sides, unless we are joking
akpu bred players like Moses Simon , Chukwueze and Dennis who always wants to dribble but fails...

modern football is not about skills, its about tactical discipline and controlling the midfield... Once a team masters the midfield then they may not need strikers to score just look at Manchester City or Aubameyang in FC Barcelona and how the midfield feeds him and his scoring goals for fun...

In summary, S.E needs to change from wing play to total football..

even the Falconets played better passing and crossing game than the S.E..

All the funds the S.E is receiving should be reduced and the majority must go to the Women's national teams...

NFF cannot be rewarding mediocrity..

S.E should be dominating the same way the women national teams dominate..

You're right. Onyeka was a big addition though

Why was Eguavoen throwing in all strikers like say na by number of strikers. He messed up the midfield.

I hope u guys saw shehu Abdullahi today? Absolutely rubbish...
We miss ndidi and iwobi....
U can spot Chukwueze would have more urgency than Dennis.
Generally, this people didn't play with any urgency, they don't deserve it.
Plus, you have seen the importance of iheanacho today,,,,no direct chance was created in the team...
I pray we learn from dz

Moses Simon isn't a good player, too predictable, holds on too much to the ball. Lookman who won us the penalty was far better than Simon, but he was substituted for Simon early into the second half. Akinkunmi amoo was never introduced to beef up the midfield bit at a time he played Sadiq, Musa, igalo and osimhem together, who will pass the ball to them?
