always use ur horn, flash ur lights severally until u are sure the truck driver is aware of your intents. these are my tips. If a truck driver never give me the go ahead to maneuver i don't try. the moment he gives me the go ahead either by waving hand, blaring horn characteristically or moving far off the road then i am sure he is aware and i throttle hard

OP, thanks for the insight, the post is very helpful..... just last week Saturday a truck driver bashed me from driver side while overtaking and i ran into the car ahead of me. inside traffic ooo and he (truck driver ) ran away. myself and the third party had to resolve in repairing our cars ourselves. Those drivers are just bunch of wicked souls

As for me, whether I'm driving walking or just standing, i dey avoid truck. Those people know how to scatter once brain with their horn. The worst is when you now enter public transport and the driver decides to compete with trucks and trailers along the express. That's the major reason I usual panic when I need to travel.

A truck brushed a lexus salon that was directly in front on me 2 days ago. After viewing the truck from my mirror, I moved in between two lanes so that it won't touch me.

The lexus guy ahead of me was forming Arnold Schwarzenegger till he got brushed. I drove pass them when they were arguing about who has the right of the way.
