Yes,most people are misinterpreting as usual but me and you know that the appeal court in abj and apex court will say the sane thing.justice oyewole is really growing through the appellate ranks.he should replace ariwoola
It is not even debatable.....I like Ekwo but I think he was voyaging into morality with that his judgement.

I don't think Oyewole has a chance now, but he will someday because of age...or be used as compensation if oga doesn't get in.
He also has seniors too.

How can you vacate a sitting governor easily .. Very almost impossible unless impeached which also seems impossible..

Ayo fayose of Ekiti state was sent out of the government house in Ado Ekiti

I said it! Pdp clowns will continue to chase shadows until Umahi completes his four year tenure.

What about the suit filed against him by the PDP?

Oga,the pdp case is weak.it will go the same way.this judgment will cover and apply

This case is entirely different Na. How do you expect the court to declare APC flag bearer as the governor when the APC votes was less than that of the PDP?

This now shows that UMAHI will vacate the seat because the votes belongs to the PDP

This one has exposed Umahi. This case is different.

PDP was not a Party to the suit, neither was INEC. It is a different case from the Federal High Court's however I think the Appeal Court in Abuja will come up with same reason as this.

PDP v Umahi, Igwe, APC & INEC (Federal High Court, Abuja)
Sonny Ogbuoji & Ogodo v Umahi, Igwe (Ebonyi High Court)

The second one is what the judge is ruling on. Sonny Ogbuoji was the 2019 APC Guber candidate, Ogodo was his Deputy. If you look carefully, neither the PDP nor INEC was in their suit.

Even if they are given judgement, INEC won't act because they aren't parties to the suit.

The first one is still before the Appeal Court in Abuja.

You are so on point.

The court ruled on same issues of votes and defection. Even if they say votes belong to PDP,the governor has immunity and cannot be sued

Chai where did u see this one na
If govs can't be sue because of immunity how were imo, Edo, osun, ondo, ekiti former govs removed.
Oga this case is a different case
The man has no case because it's just like saying because when a seating gov dies, then the party that came second should now take over from the party that took first.
Kogi state comes to mind. When Audu died it was handed over yahaya bello who came out second during ACN primaries

You didn't read the judgment well.governors of those states were removed because pre election and post election matters had not lapsed and immunity doesn't cover election cases...once election cases are over, immunity covers them.only houses of assemblies can remove them.votes might belong to PDP but you cannot sue the governor
