Afonjakid: Ode, what those ibo women want among others is to be able to bear worthy surnames, for themselves and their kids and they're so proud it. They would rather be called Mrs Adetunji instead of Mrs Chukudi. And automatically their kids become Yorubas, so that's a win for the man, he loses nothing. You don't get, do you? 1 Like |

SugarGirl44:Afonja men are the ones running after igbo women and it's only the successful ones are chosed by igbo women.. No igbo woman go pick any poor afonja man.. Samething happening in America where most successful black men marries white women is samething that afonja men are doing.. afonja men wants to have igbo DNA in their family.. igbo men will rather go marry a foreigner than afonja women.. afonja men have rejected their women and abandoned them 1 Like |

Afonjakid: Werey say na America. So ibo women are the white women of Nigeria. you people's self esteem is the lowest ever. Who DNA help? The kids are Yoruba kids, that's the koko. Most of them end up becoming baby mamas anyways, see the new one following ffk, another baby mama in the making. Yet they won't stop coming back cos they would rather be a baby mama for Yoruba men than be legally married to you people. That says a lot. 1 Like |

SugarGirl44:Okpo!! Ezi bida.. the ones married to your governor's, rich men nko.. how many igbos rich man or politician have you seen married to an afonja lady. None, cause we don't fancy nor want.. we Just Bleep them and thrash them out. We don't even wanna have kids with them except maybe they are mixed like in the case of Peter okoye or tekno Like I said, afonja men are the ones running after igbo women, they don't mind selling their properties just to marry an igbo lady and have igbo DNA in their children. And for your info,I didn't say igbo women are the white of Nigeria, why is it hard for you to read and comprehend.. read that post again and understand it 1 Like |

heniford2:This will be last time I will quote you on this because I am bewildered at your level of ignorance and understanding...It is a glaring fact, Google your way to the truth and history and read how the northerners and Westerners reserved and returned the surviving Igbos properties back to them after the war! My candid advice is don't argue blindly, check things for yourself, don't be blinded by sentiments and emotions |

SilentQueen:it is that same history I am talking about. I have had real talks with the ones who had their business or homes outside their region and was taking away from them. We can decide leaving the igbos out of this and jump into Ghana. There was a time in Ghana, the yorubas had businesses and homes in Ghana but at that time the govt of Ghana wanted african (Nigerian) migrants out. Their stores, houses etc was taking away from them.. why am I bringing this up? It is part of history I am not for anybody but I am just quoting you by making you understand that the igbos have always migrated, they have invested elsewhere till the extent neglecting their regions.. Today, things are different. Things are beginning to change. People are beginning to invest in their homes ; not just the igbos but other tribes who traveled out of their regions or countries. |

This isnt goodnews to me. For him to "manufacture" cars locally, very high import duties on cars is a necessity, making cars less affordable. Import duties on cars is 70%. This is just too high. That's the price you and I are paying for Innoson and other local car assemblers to produce cars locally. That's not fair. One will argue-"these guys create jobs." Well, those importing used and news cars too are providing livelihoods for many as well. The truth is importers of used and new cars create far more wealth and income for the country than these assemblers of CKD parts. I know of at least 10 people who are either importers of cars into the country or working for them. I can't name a soul that works in any of these car assembly plants I am sure that for everyone that works for a car assembly plant, at least 20 owe their Livelihoods to car importation. One would argue- why import cars when we can make it locally? Simply producing something because you can make it locally is actually bad economics. Countries become wealthy by focusing resources on areas they have comparative advantage. Look at Nigeria. The production and the exporting of crude oil made Nigeria prosperous. Imagine what the story would be if the country had fully developed the downstream sector of the economy. Imagine Nigeria was refining 2.5m barrels of crude oil daily, was the 2nd largest gas exporter in Africa, largest petrochemical and fertilizer producer in Africa, producing 60,000mw of power and so on. Nigeria was the defacto oil and gas hub of Africa. The per capita income today would be at least 3 times its current pitiful figure. Pay Utomi condemned the Jonathan government when it placed 70% import duty on cars. Jonathan's government soon realised it was counterproductive but did not change it. Pat Utomi said the way to go was for the country to specialise in a few areas of the car industry. Imagine if Nigeria supplied 10% of all tyres used in car used in Africa or even globally? It could be break pads, roller chains and so on. * I did not read the part that 70% of the parts are made locally. This however does not change my views. The parts made locally would most likely cost higher due to a lack of large economies of scale. , |

GenBuhari:In my presence this evening, a car was driving one-way when a police patrol van saw them. The policemen jumped down from their vehicles, asked the boys in the car to lie down on the road, shot two tires of their car and shot several times into the air, while beating up the boys and using the butt of their gun to hit them. Tell me, will you like to have friends who do this to people? |

GenBuhari:They were right behind me. They passed my car so I'm giving you an eye-witness account. The only crime they committed was driving against traffic. After everything, the policemen left them there and drove away. The boys had to park their car with the deflated tyres and went to a nearby chemist to get treated |

Afonjakid: Arindin that's your pride. An ibo woman would marry even a leper as long as he's rich, what does that say to you? Your brain is faulty so I don't expect you get it. Can't keep arguing with your type. Go and solve your self esteem problems first, that's why nobody likes you guys. |

SugarGirl44:The dirty afonja goat is now shifting goal post. Afonja women are the people who needs to look inwards to know the reason why no tribe wants to marry them including their own men. Nobody even likes afonjas in this country cause there are back stabbers and betrayers.. it's only in SW that we keep having ethnic clashes going on where afonjas are fighting everyone |
