It has nothing to do with the remote. It's a power issue which is a Panel problem because that's what controls the entire indoor unit. An expert must remove the panel, take it for repairs (if it can be repaired) OR replace the panel entirely and you won't suffer that again.

But I'm most likely sure it can be repaired.

Well, I'm surprised that removal of Freon and topping it back would address the problem based on your narration. Okay, keep running the unit and hopefully it's sustainable and the problem finally addressed.

The biggest job of an air conditioner is to cool indoor air. Although it does not do all this. Air conditioners control and regulate the air temperature with a thermostat. Before you find the best split ac you need to sort through the offerings on the market. They work by blowing cold air through the room and pulling hot air out of the house.

Good afternoon sir. I do not really agree with this, the small pipe is the discharge line while the big pipe is the return line.

Both pipes gets cold but the small pipe is always colder than the big one, the small pipe gets cold immediately the compressor is powered on( if there is refrigerant).

The big pipe gets cold a bit not as cold as the small pipe.

You are correct about the big pipe being return which was an error on my part. As for the both pipes being cold, for some unit, one is usually colder than the other which is the point i was referring to.

Get a 2.5kva generator. It'll power the inverter AC conveniently. Preferably, get 1HP inverter AC. The freon type for those ACs are R410 which doesn't consume power at all due to the type of compressor in it.

But I’ve been having this issue whenever i turn the AC on it works for about 5 minutes blowing cool air and after which it stop blowing cool air the the fan outside stops rolling. I can’t tell if it’s the fault of the generator or the ac or the wiring

Fast forward to January the AC stopped cooling and I summoned him to check it, to my surprise the same compressor he fixed few months back was the same issue.

1) What exactly could be the cause of the Compressor going bad?

2) Is it advisable to fix it again or just get a replacement instead?

2. The choice to replace compressor or replace the entire unit is yours to decide. Note that if it's a voltage problem, even if you purchase a brand new unit, it may still have a problem.

My advice is that whatever you decide, try and get a power surge protector or a stabilizer to power the unit.

if it's not cooling properly I don't think you should turn it on except it still cools a little when the weather is super hot.

Yes, it can. But if that's the case, ensure there's no leakage.
