Seriously, I still wonder why Russia was given so much power by the west in the past to misbehave thus way. Russia is jist 2 points ahead of Nigeria in oil endowment. Russia is 8th in the world while Nigeria is 10th. They earn over 1b usd from gas sales.

I guess the west hates blacks else they'd have considered Nigeria for their gas dependency instead of going to Russia. Our bonny lite crude was adjudged the best in the world so, why are the west not buying from us as much as they do Russia and other countries of like-colour? I'm sure some people would ignorantly cite corruption but Nigeria wasn't this corrupt as far back as 90s and some western countries were even more corrupt than Nigeria as of then.

2ndly, our soil is more virile for farming than that of Russia. Here we don't always need fertiliser to grow crops especially down south.

Unfortunately for Russia, instead of using the gas proceeds to better the lots of their people, they were busy using it to stockpile weapons. My cousin who schooled in Russia and speaks their language like locals had to leave there after his studies . He said there's nothing in that country , no jobs . He left for America instead.

Back to the matter, why have we not received as much patronage as russua by the west on our crude and gas sale? If its construction of gas pipeline that's an issue, glo and mainOne had proved many wrong by channeling their Internet submarine cables from Europe down to Nigeria, which many banks and corporate bodies now depend on. We could have achieved our gas pipeline to Europe through North Africa. I think the west hates us.

We need to learn from China. Until we have a government that's serious about the acts of governing right, we can never be on the right path to progress and neither can we be respected anywhere.


Having the most intelligent and empowered individuals doesn't even buy respect, having the most intelligent government does. A government that knows how to play its card in economic policies, turn the country around and make it a hub for investment by serious investing in the people and infrastructure will secure respect of any other country. Even if they don't like you, they will pretend they do just to show that they respect you.

Maybe geographical proximity and historic ties is a factor. Same way African countries would obviously buy more from Nigeria than Russia.

Not just "sanctioning", they were (and still), pouring more weapons into the Conflict because PEACE is never in the interest of a MAJOR WEAPONS MANUFACTURER!
America earns a lot of Money, from waging Wars and pouring Weapons into conflict Zones.

Most Nations are SCARED of what damage the USA will do to them, from stealing their foreign Reserves, to Trade Embargo and shutting down their financial system and even levying War on them, if they dared to not Vote in Support of anything that America wants.

India, as big-a-country s it is, has been threatened severally by America (and they are trying to destabilise the President Modhi's Govt, by sponsoring internal Opposition to impeach the Indian President) when it VOTED AGAINST America's Resolution against Russia, at the UN Security council, about two weeks ago.
Today, it DID NOT VOTE "against" THE American-sponsored Resolution, instead, India ABSTAINED!
Now, imagine the FEAR that is going on in the mind of those "SMALL AND WEAK " Nations who voted in-support of the Resolution, if they dared not to!.

As strong and big. as China is, America has been threatening them to either tow the American line or get "Sanctioned".
One Nation cannot be threatening everyone else and forcing them to do what it wants.
That is not the FREEDOM God gave Humans.

But there is a silver lining to these "International Bullying".
Many Countries and their Leaders are seeing clearly, what would also happen to them, if they ever dare to be the Master of their own destiny. It is also hastening the effort to find an alternative to storing the Wealth of other Nations in American Vaults pr using the Dollar to Trade Internationally,. while America just PRINTS the Dollar-Paper Money, in exchange for the Sweat of others.

This war was between Russia and America/EU Allies, Ukraine was just a Pawn.
