There is lots of evidence out there to show many do, and I believe I posted the story of people jailed for murders they never committed who would have been death sentenced if not for death sentence abolishment that the wrong person might be killed for a crime they pled guilty to but had not committed. You can't however use this as those pleading guilty are innocent, as you are trying to do, this is not lawless South Africa.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you plead guilty to a crime you never committed, you are either toying for a lower sentence having committed a crime, be insane, or must be prepared for the price you must pay for being weak.

Do know that pleading guilty to a crime you never committed is the same as confessing to a crime you never committed. It happens.

And by the way those protesters are being accused of disrupting an official proceeding. In reality the session had been suspended because two pipe bombs had been discovered. FBI has photos and CCTV footage of the guy who planted them, he has never been arrested.
