Nothing good can come out of APC however the embellishment. Goodluck Jonathan as the vice president to Yaradua was a more gentle and saintly looking man than Osinbajo whose deceptive charm is now making us repose hopes on him.
Propaganda told us Jonathan had no shoes in primary schl. I fell for the shoe lyrics as a politically ignorant undergraduate. We voted enmass with hopes and emotions in 2011, paroting how he's a PhD holder, how he's a nice person, how he possess certain stroke of luck -as deputy- which always made him succeed his bosses; no question about party ideology, this 'luck' of the deputy' also in his name 'Goodluck' was touted as a premonition that his destiny lies in Aso rock to deliver good governance.

How ignorant we were in retrospect. PDP exploited our simple-mindedness. We are back to the same state of foolishness and credulity under another party, APC, with same bait, same formula, same people and interest.

But because you can't go beyond the agenda of your party, even if u have good intentions, means that Jonathan failed woefully despite his seeming superficial niceness.

Osinbajo is just another Jonathan in the making, with more swag and charisma, better public speaking ability while dinning with wolves and jackals. he's also a pastor, another word that automatically switches off the thinking mode of most Nigerians. A Christian politician also sound sweet to the ears of Christians. Well let see how far religion takes us, after an Islamic ethnic bigot ruined this country with his religion.

If Osinbajo had true conscience expected of a pastor, or integrity of a true statesman, he should have resigned from this government of bloodshed. That would have been integrity personified if he contested under another flag. But I understand, he enjoys the largess and political influence of APC - who wouldn't? So that makes him just like every other politician we curse today.

In sane nations, where political shame exist people resign, not dining with the devil and supporting the devil and lying for PR and politics, yet coming back to post as a good boy with integrity. That's a snake right there with insidious personal agenda; perhaps the agenda of RCCG. People might feel strongly about the possibility of a Christian president, because, well, Buhari came with an insidious Islamic and Fulani agenda, so a tit for tat justice mindset might support a pastor coming for the Christian or RCCG agenda. That's politics of religion. It won't take us anywhere. We will be dancing in circles, trying to retaliate Buhari.

Obviously, Osinbajo of APC jackals will fail like Jonathan of PDP scorpions, and even if he tried to better Jonathan, he can't overcome the pressure and evil antecedent of APC. His English won't save him, not under a party where snakes and vipers call the shot and stakes and influence are high from the north.

Tell me how a rookie like him amongst wolves in the north will change anything....
