The soul is the complete system itself, with the hard Ware and soft Wae installed. The mind is the operating system... Another point.. |

sonmvayina: you are describing the soul using computer terms oh so dum one the complete computer system includes the operating system the operating system is the main software of the complete computer system a computer is not complete without it's operating system software unless you just want to stare at the cmos antichrist, you are just talking nonsense in your posts but then that's to be expected of one who doesn't know God 1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1Jn_4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come deceiver and antichrist: 2Jn_1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 1 Like |

begoniaa: Curiousity led me to understand that my last comment was omitted which perhaps be the reason for communicating with you since yesterday. Nevertheless, there was a thread few days back about a man who was lamenting about the quietness of his wife. He claimed that he has never had any close discussion with his wife. She was not the talking type irrespective of how much he tried to make her be "comfortable" with him. Even sometimes he would initiate conversation hoping she would join him but it never worked out and that has made his home boring. The usual husband-wife heart to heart talk never happened. Among the comments that followed, the one that got my attention was that of a poster who said that that same woman would be a talker in the present of her boyfriend or lover. Although the comment was insensitive, I kind of understood the reality in it. From your reply about comfortability with certain acquaintances, do you think the poster maybe right about the woman ? Do you express yourself freely in the talker kind of way (as mplied by your mom) in the presence of your boyfriend or lover, if any ? |

Bluezy13: Heyy, good morning. What last comment are you referring to? What I know about people for certain is that they express different degrees of openness and vibes and emotions, and so on with different people. I think the poster may be right, but not in a cheating scenario as was suggested. But if she wasn't married, I would (like to) think she might be more of a talker with someone she feels and connect with and who encourages her to 'come out of her shell.' I can't not imagine being in a relationship with someone and still acting like rigid acquaintances. I feel there might be some background issues to those couple's case...people have things that excites them or make them want to go on speaking for long. I don't have a S/O, so. But you believe there are people who naturally are quiet and 'closed in', don't you? Or you think it depends on the level of comfort as well, depending on the two people involved? |

Magnoliaa: Imagine someone ran over your pet perhaps a puppy named "Skippy" and after killing your pet the killer offered to buy you another puppy perhaps much beautiful than Skippy would that solve the problem? Well most pet owners will vehemently disagree with such idea. But why? Isn't it all about a little dog? Can't another much adorable puppy serve as replacement for your puppy? That's the import of the word "SOUL" There are millions, billions of beautiful as in adorable puppies on this planet but none could replace your pet that has become like a friend over the years because there's a lot of things this dog would have known about you to the point where ordinarily snapping your finger at Skippy would drive it into action as it has understood what you meant. So getting you just another dog won't change anything! A soul means the character as in the person not just the body, no woman can perfectly replace your wife, no child can replace yours, so when Jesus said: And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the SOUL; rather fear him who can destroy both SOUL and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 He was talking about the body that will be buried and the character (person) meaning both will be totally forgotten in the grave! Psalms 9:17 May you have PEACE! 1 Like 1 Share |

Magnoliaa: Let me use a name, "Nwanne" as a personality. Nwanne, a male in the family is perceived as being quiet. He discusses with neither his siblings not either of his parents. He was always in his own corner in the family, doesn't interfere with other's sensitive information and frowns inwardly when other family members intrude his personal space. He never celebrated birthdays and disregarded any celebration at all concerning him. He was in the world of the family members but no family member was in his own world. Even when he scolded or accused wrongly, he never uttered a word. In Secondary school, Nwanne was regarded as an introvert. He never played with others, his quietness metamorphosed into shyness or do I say there was only but a narrow line between his quietness and shyness. Nwanne never wanted to be noticed even though he was being noticed...after all, he was perceived to be brilliant and composed. The teachers liked him but never showed it. He was good at being sensitive of other people's perceptions of himself. Any Social event would cause him to withdraw himself from the public. He was made one of the public prefects even though it was against his will initially. But there was this friend of his...or so the friend thought because Nwanne does not understand the meaning of friendship...that he was always arguing with. They became close simply because they always argue about almost everything. Although their arguments were mainly inconclusive but Nwanne found joy in it perhaps, he thought that the friend has the reasoning power that was capable of contesting with his own. Nwanne derived joy in exploiting options on matters excluding the secular matters. This friend was Nwanne's only friend until they graduated. This personality of his was obvious even in the streets where he grew up. His only perceived friend was his neighbor, Ayi. Ayi would always force him out of the house to go play football. Hence they became close...if at all they were really close. Ayi would always invite Nwanne to his family house and nwanne would go but still his presence would not be felt due to his quietness. Simply put, Nwanne existed like he never existed. In the university, nwanne didn't change. But irrespective of his introvertive nature, Nwanne was give a unanimous appointment of a course rep of a course with different units. It was technically huge for a person like Nwanne. He was forced to feign the extrovert personality because he saw that it was a necessity for the execution of his role... Note that he "feigned" it. Irrespective of that, a closer look would reveal his quiet nature as attested by those who knew his original self. But still he was regarded as a talker by anyone who derived pleasure in intellectual constructive arguments of any sort. He was good at it. During his service year, Nwanne was made his lodge head, the Community Development Services president, and eventually the CLO all almost at the same time. These were positions that required individuals of social vibe and leadership, but Nwanne was an introvert naturally. Yet, like a chameleon, he fit in. These are some instances about Nwanne's life. At present, when you pass by Nwanne, you wouldn't even realize you pass by someone. He doesn't even know his nextdoor neighbour's name even after living with them for years...not that it is separate apartments. He has no friends and neither a friend nor a family member has visited Nwanne since he moved on his own. Taking some excerpt from Nwanne's personality. (1) Nwanne is naturally closed in. He only tend to feign open in order not to be perceived as being incompetent. And this skill requires a high level of self consciousness. (2) Nwanne's quietness depends on not the people he met but what the people he met has to offer. This means that he may meet someone that he normally wouldn't have anything to do with, no connection, but once the person presents an argument, Nwanne automatically becomes more of a talker. And after the argument is settled, friendship may end, he retracts to his she'll (like the case of his "argument friend", after all, he was never sentimental, nor seek extra closeness. Note: Nwanne is not an ambivert. But if Nwanne's quietness depended on the personalities/social condition he met, he would be an ambivert. I hope you understand the narrow line between natural quietness and conditional quietness I try to point out using Nwanne. |

Bluezy13: That was like a whole ass psychology class, LMAO. So in a nutshell, the person in question is you? And even though you're quiet, it's still dependent to some extent on what the person you're relating with has to offer like you said here [Nwanne's quietness depends on not the people he met but what the people he met has to offer]? |

Magnoliaa: Actually, yes. Now if this is the case, then I suppose the woman was not comfortable with the husband. Otherwise, at least there should be something interesting to discuss with the husband. |

Bluezy13: Yes, I agree. It doesn't even have to be some deep, intimate, soul-to-soul conversation like that. Business, friends, family, neighbours and street matter, politics and all, throwback memories? Haha now. There should be something in all of those for them to discuss even if they've lost the spark and have simply remained ceremonial couples. Those ones don't even strike me as being ceremonial... |

Magnoliaa: This is the equation SOUL=MIND+WILL+EMOTION Soul is that part of human that gives unique identity before God as spirit beings. It's the real you that exist forever. It serves as mediator between the spirit and body Mind is just a component of the soul that serves as software to the brain and the sense organs. It's divided into three Conscious, subconscious and unconscious. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Magnoliaa:...at all. Would be so boring. Reason I kind of would want a noisemaker for a partner... whatever partnership. At least he/she will be a cover-up to me. What about you, would you want a quiet person, a jolly fellow or an intermediary ?? |
Re: Does The Soul Differs From The Mind? by Magnoliaa(f): 7:33pm On Apr 12, 2022 |
Bluezy13: Lol. Someone in between. But I DO LOVE bubbly people as friends. I love, love, loveeeee them. I like being friends with extroverts. They compliment me. They are always bursting with 'gists' and stories. That's life. But I don't see myself being with a completely, 100% jolly person. Nahhhh. I don't want that energy in a partner, not that I have anything against it... But- but then... I can't say this with certainty. Attraction for me always precede the qualities I want. I said precede, not overshadow or override. So even if I find someone who is spec and is everything I want AND extroverted? Of course, I wouldn't mind being with them. In whatever career, from whatever tribe, any goals they have... So I can say now that I would want a partner in-between, 'things' can change. There's a friend I have who's on the other divide and even though I like him a teeny bit, he's SO closed off. And I'm just trying to understand that it is his personality. And just who he is... if as friends, I'm not okay with the whole wall about him, I don't think I can deal with that in a relationship. Sighs. So I just try, and I'm making myself judge him by his ACTIONS to me, not what he says or do not share with me. And he scores higher on that. So I'll say a person in-between for now. |
