And I have no apology.

The truth hurts.
Truth that tinubu will be APC candidate? Lol. You should rather worry why the news of tinubu becoming president hurts.

What a hasty conclusion from a very ignorant beer parlour analyst...look, whatever gave Osibanjo the guts to vie for the Presidency at this time is bigger than your analysis. Politics is deep.
Yoruba people don't love themselves, that's why they keep stabbing themselves in the back.

Why would Osibanjo deal with Tinubu like this.

u keep decirving osinbajo d same way u are decirving Peter obi.

Which structure does d 2 people, obi n osinbajo have that can make way for them.

U think it's by masses votes n noise ani?
Have u ever heard about delegates?
Have u ever heard about party chieftains?
Have u heard about politics personal structure, meaning big men who will risk it all for u when push comes to shove?

Compare obi to atiku in d following regards n see d truth then compare tinubu to osinbajo n u have your answer.

Politics is deep but structure matters, buhari was always a failed contestant till he team up with d right people despite d fact d north love him,if he depend solely on d north he won't b President today.

Same thing is affecting Peter obi now n he doesn't have any big structure outside south east, imagine those area boys okupe took him to in ogun state,is that what we are talking about?
with right and powerful characters behind anyone, that person can clinch any party's primary ticket so stop talking about structure as if it is only a southwest delegates that will cast their votes in the primaries and you talking about structure shows that it is either you know nothing about Nigerian political templates or you just want to argue. Like I said, with the right force behind you,you can get the primary ticket of any political party cos it is not a general election where you employed all your foot soldiers just to deliver result, this stage, it is a selected few which can be influenced.....

I am the last person to hate on PYO but he too must be guided to not allow himself be used to mess up Yorubas once again as was done to Awolowo and Abiola through the likes of Obasanjo etal.

Osinbajo is not a politician per se and must be careful to ensure he is not goaded into a face off with Tinubu, who made him all he is today, by people without political decorum, uprightness or honour.

I doubt Osinbanjo will have up to 10% of the vote in the primary election.

Lol. You guys should not go down this road. Tinubu is an institution in Africa. Your fellow Nigerians, because of sectional and ethnic bias, are never useful 'barometers' for judging the real strength of political leaders.

Look at how the international community, from Africa to the West, react to our Nigerian leaders to note who the world really see as special from Nigeria.

Abi you think the rest of the world does not understand that Osinbajo, via his own effort alone, would have toppped out as an anonymous Lawyer but for Tinubu propping him up? Tinubu made him VP.

The greatest leaders are not accidental leaders only able to mount the podium after others have dragged them up.

That reality is not lost on those who understand that genuinely powerful and special leaders nurture others to lead.

Since becoming VP, and I hate to do this, can you show me a single powerful disciple Osinbajo has mentored and brought to prominence?

Is there an Osinbajo school of political thinking as we still have Awoists today and as we have the Jagaban movement?

Please get real. We love Osinbajo but he should know his place. Where the likes of Tinubu come once in a lifetime, like Awolowo, Osinbajo is just a capable and competent hand.

Not a special one at the highest stratosphere of African leadership like Awolowo, Nkrumah etal. Tinubu is.

Saying Tinubu is sick online won't change the outcome of an election or the APC primary.

Go and check the way people were calling APC and Islamic Party, Amala and Ewedu Party etc. In fact, people said Buhari will islamise Nigeria, at the end of the day, he didn't just win once, he won twice.

Tinubu will contest in the APC primary election and will likely get the ticket. What you are complaining about does not matter because there is no evidence he is not fit enough to rule. You do not need to be a Youth to rule a country right. Youths made Nigeria go into a civil war.

I've not seen any candidate in the APC that will defeat the jargaban next month.

Bring out evidence that the Jargaban is not fit enough, I will stop standing on his mandate.
following you straight up .. wise !

Tinubu is not sir. Tinubu is a common criminal with loads of facts to prove it. What was his net worth before his foray into politics. He's not in the league of the Nkrumah's of this world.

But if there is no consensus, Tinubu will also win the ticket.

Buhari just needed another region to merge with the north. Buhari saw the ambitious Tinubu and took advantage of him. I ask you in reverse, if the SW were such great Kingmakers, why was the merger in 2014 necessary? Why didnt AC win presidential elections in 2011 when Nuhu Ribadu contested? I mean, he is a northerner and he was contesting in your party? So why did he pull ONLY 2 million votes? Buhari that didnt even have you people's support got 12 million votes; 10 million more than the candidate under Tinubu's influence. I mean, they are both nirtherners. You people hype Tinubu's influence even in Lagos too much. In doing that, you all fail to understand that presidential elections are tight in Lagos. 2015 and 2019, PDP gave APC a good fight. You know the way after a match you'd see ball possession 55 vs 45, that's what happens in Lagos. Totally different from other states where possession fit be like 75 vs 25. So forget about all these "before he teamed up with Tinubu and won". Jonathan's people (PDP) were against him and that's why he lost, not just because of Tinubu. They didnt want him to do 2 tenures and he went against their agreement. Hence, they worked against the party and even joined hands to support Buhari. Tinubu and the SW were simply add-ons... Nothing too special

You are almost correct.

But with the consensus part, that person is absolutely of Buhari's choosing.

Unless Buhari chooses Tinubu as the consensus candidate, then even if it is Malami, Pantami or Dapo Abiodun Buhari prefers, he would muzzle his way into getting it confirmed.

If Jagaban screams too much, Buhari can either appease him or coerce him, depending on what side of the bed he wakes up from.

There is a grand plan for Tinubu to assist Osinbajo return to aso rock.
The plan is thus;
1. Become rivals first
2. Gather support individualy from across the country
3. Tinubu to collapse his support base for Osinbajo before elections.
4. Osinbajo wins and continue his loyalty to Tinubu

It is clear that PYO is not from Lagos, the better he move to his state ward the better and the choice he made, was made last year which is wise enough. Because Mr. President has house in Kaduna and he never voted their, he always vote in his home state, Daura.
