dataking:First.. and inverter does not power a battery. What you need is 12v inverter that require only 1 battery to work and can power more loads than your previously owned did. Dont worry about "200amps battery" Any 12v inverter can be powered by your 115amps or any 200amp battery. |

Good morning all. I've been using a 2.5kva soccer power inverter to power my house. Aside from a large fridge there's not much load. Just TV's (very rarely) fans and energy saver bulbs. I believe I'm using 4 200 amp quanta batteries. There's also solar connected. I have been using this setup for about a year and 1 month. Over the last few weeks the electricity situation has been bad. My batteries can't seem to hold a charge. After 2-3 hours from sundown It will start to beep and show low battery. Please any help will be appreciated |

Hello house,my mum intend getting an inverter come September....seems good to me because of her business,but the thing is I don't know how strong batteries of these inverters cum solar panels will be...now, she's into food drinks and carbonated drinks..but wants to go fully into selling iced block.she has consulted one of her friends who runs a cold room and the latter(her friend) said she could get exactly the type of what she uses. N.B-total cost as I was told is 800,000 What she intends to power with the inverter includes 2 deep freezers.please,as I'm a novice,will the estimated sum be ok for that kind of inverter.how long can the inverter last in a day? |

omotola90:You need a proper Load size for you to get a good estimate. The load cant be just 2 deep freezers. 1. Deep freezers have power consumption ratings which varies depending on their sizes. You need to find the "nameplate" on the freezers and note the specifications. 2. Their would surely be other loads she would use in her shop which can't be just assumed but to be properly recorded. 3. Also, how does she want the loads to run... should the freezers run 24/7 everyday? Etc. I dont think your 800k can stand a standard system for that. 1 Like |

ewizard1: Yes it does. I have noticed that once the nepa light goes the battery will instantly go from showing 27.7v to something like 26. 2 volts. If this happens during the day, the solar will gradually take it back to 27. 1 or so. However once the sun goes down I'll get like 2-3 hours before it dies |

hello gurus in the house please I'm finding it difficult sizing my solar system. my power needs are: 1. Samsung inverter fridge (rated 100watts) 2. LG 600w soundbar (rated 90watts) 3. lighting (let's assume total of 100watts) 4. sumec 1.1hp inverter AC (I don't know the power rating but they claim I pass my neighbor can carry it) 5. 50" 4k TV (rated 95watts) two rechargeable fans 6. Charge two 2020 macbook pro I can't exactly size the loads above but this is what I plan to buy: 1. two 230ah genus tubular batteries 160k each 2. mppt charge controller 60amp 55k 3. three pieces of 300watts solar panels about 60k each 4. either 12v 2.4kva or 24v 2.4kva or 24v 3.5kva inverter at about I plan to always switch off the fridge every night. please gurus in the house, I need your input in this.
