These attacks, especially in this location, are coming from white nationalist groups. It's pretty obvious. They have members in law enforcement, and I have to think that's the main reason these things aren't being investigated properly.

This shooting didn't happen because someone was "frustrated." It happened because someone was paid. It specifically happened because white nationalists don't like progressive places like New York. NYC is a symbol of all the things they don't like: diversity, ambition, real infrastructure, real culture, valuing education, new immigrants trying to achieve the American dream, and success.

White nationalists believe they can create fear or even somehow harm NYC's marketability. They can't. They're ídíots.
