That means your passport is ready. You should be able to pick up tomorrow... but checkif you got an email . Decision has been finalised and its back to Nigeria

Go ahead and pay. You have about 5days to pay. You will get a confirmation email and few days later, they will send other emails and approval too. I had same experience.

I made payment for my IELTS test for this Thursday, since last week Thursday and it went through from my side, I got debited and all. When I didn't receive confirmation of payment, I called them, and was told that they didn't receive my payment and any payment done now can't be confirmed for me to write on Thursday.

Personally, i would advise British Airways for the obvious reasons . No stopovers , official carrier for Uk etc. On the other hand, you can check out KLM and virgin atlantic

I did for only Nigeria. It was stated on their site, that police clearance should be submitted for all countries you've lived in for 1 year or more except the UK.

It's not right but most of us are used to such most especially when it comes to JAPA. For example, a lady was promised JAPA and after the process she was told that no cell phone will be allowed for a year while she works for the agent there. She agreed because she just wanna leave this country, so such is life.
Think over it and make your decision. Good luck

Hi guys, I have been assigned a 3 year CoS and my employer agreed to certify my maintenance so i don’t have to use my bank statement when applying for visa.

My annual salary (gross) as stated in my CoS is just a little above £28,000 per annum but they have stated that the immigration surcharge for the three years (£1092) will be deducted from my salary with an agreement.

I am not sounding greedy but is it right as there were no prior discussion regarding this, I was only told after my CoS was assigned.

Check by yourself if the surcharge you are supposed to pay is £1092. If it is, then I think they are doing you a favour. If its less than that, you can humbly request that you will source for the surcharge by yourself.

They envisaged that you may not be able to afford the surcharge, that is why they want to pay on your behalf and then deduct from your salary over time. I experienced the same with regards to accommodation fee for the first month and it was deducted from my salary over 3 months.

In my opinion, I will advise you to agree with them so that you will have less financial burden because you still have to pay Visa fee, Air ticket, house rent, and other miscellaneous things.

This your annual salary is high for senior carer role for 40 hours .... do you mean 20800.

No, you can't. Nigerian liscense is what it is called... NIGERIAN. UK driving laws are not the same with ours... Get your international license and save yourself the stress.

And before you ask, yes I know someone over there who couldn't use his Nigerian liscense. Except if you somehow never go through a police check, you'll need an international license

I don't think so. Most people here use their normal Nigerian license for 1 year. It's seen as the same thing as the "International" License.
