Great2017:U don't get it do you? Ganduje will not listen to an outgoing, broke President cos when push comes to shove, Tinubu will always be there as President or Not. I do not think U understand how they further sealed their relationship with the wedding of Ganduje and Ajimobi's children. Buhari is on his own if he tries it. Even for the chairmanship, he had to make a few concessions to the Governors. Buhari is not their God 1 Like |

Great2017: My Brother, that is the reality! As long as it's will end in Primaries with delegates voting. Tinubu will beat Osinbanjo Black and Blue. The kind of relationship Tinubu has built over many years with the North nobi joke. Let me break this down to you, the North foresee Tinubu as someone who return their favour, that he will keep to his words about handing Power back to them, the North after his tenure. Already Osinbanjo as shown a trait that he can't be trusted. Mind you Kano and Lagos has the highest numbers of delegates. And this two states Na already sure win for Tinubu. 1 Like |

Siwel25:The same way Tinubu is not their God. Are you saying President Buhari is powerless as far as the APC ticket is concerned? That is not true. Buhari is going to be a big decider in who will get the ticket. Do you also think a Fulani man will prefer the choice of a yoruba man to that of his fellow Fulani compatriot expecially when the latter is worshipped as a god? Fulanis don't play that kind of politics. |
Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Great2017: 6:15pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Blablamalala:I am not saying that Tinubu has not built a strong relationship with the North over the years. The North can still betray him. That is my submission. |
Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Nobody: 6:22pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Great2017: Fulanis are almost 100% Muslims. Buhari will rather choose a Muslim, a person of his own faith than choose a Christian when it comes to choice. That is a factor Buhari who is seen as championing Islamisation will make and others will follow since there is no Fulani man contesting for that position in the APC. |
Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Great2017: 6:36pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Blablamalala:Fulanis don't see a yoruba muslim as a true muslim. That line of argument does not hold water. Northern politicians including Buhari would prefer a northern Muslim over a northern Christian to be the vice president. This alone is already working against Tinubu's presidency except Tinubu wants to fly a muslim-muslim ticket. Muslim-Muslim ticket will also work against him. These are the dynamics I have been referring to. The odds are really against Tinubu's presidency. |

PeterObi went to Edo, no escort, no convoy, no aides, no wastage of money! Just simple. Nigeria will be lucky to have him as their 16th president. A new Nigeria is possible with @PeterObi.

Great2017: Tinubu is not their God but he has their respect because he never treats them disdainfully as 'cannon fodders' who do not matter at all and can be neglected, disrespected and even disgraced till he needs their help. Tinubu is no ingrate and he is not dishonorable . His peers, which does not include members of the public like you, know his word is bond and someone to back/support in the sure knowledge they will be paid back benevolently and not with treachery, ingratitude, disloyalty wickedness and career death. 1 Like |

Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Nobody: 7:48pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Great2017: Politics is a game of arousing sentiments in your favour. Of course if a Muslim who is a Yoruba man is contesting against a Fulani man such comes to play. But if a Fulani man is to choose between two Yorubas, a Muslim and a Christian, he will rather choose the one with affinity to his own faith no matter. That's how it plays. |

SimplePlan34: Even with consensus it is still going to be Tinubu. It is very straight forward. |
Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Great2017: 7:59pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Blablamalala:To you, it is inconsequential but to the Northern politicians, it is not inconsequential when that is what is zoned to them. |
Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by MetaPhysical: 8:03pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
tonysunkan: No, you got it wrong. Awo was a Yoruba leader foremost, also a party leader to Akintola, who allied with Bello to spite Awo in party politics. Thats where the betrayal came in. Tinubu is not Yoruba leader, he is a Nigerian leader. He is a party leader but we don't know in what capacity. They both report to Buhari. There is nothing Osinbajo has done to betray Tinubu. If Tinubu was a Yoruba leader I can see Osinbajo's action as an insubordination and a betrayal. |

Blablamalala:Not when the Christian is been supported by the Fulani political class. Before the Fulanis, there is actually no difference between a southern Christian and a southern Muslim. You can take this to the bank. |

Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Nobody: 8:55pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Great2017: Not putting his money behind Ribadu is not betraying him. He at least gave Ribadu a platform we all knew was ceremonial, as PDP could not be defeated back then, whereas OBJ cut off Ribadu and El Rufai who served him so well 1 Like |

Great2017: How did Tinubu betray Ribadu? |
Re: Osinbajo Is Following The Footsteps Of Akintola (Modified) by Great2017: 9:14pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Dsalvo:Okay, it is called deception. So he deceived Ribadu using his AC platform. What a shame? What about the betrayal of Alliance for Democracy (AD)? The platform that made him a governor. When we talk about loyalty, Tinubu should not be mentioned. |
