Hello Nairalander, I'm in a dilemma right now as I have to choose between buying a one bedroom flat with #1.5million Naira or a nice car at an equivalent price for Uber use.

Please Note:
*The house will have 2 spacious rooms and will be located in the suburb of Abuja where I can get a rent of #150k annually for each room.

* The sole purpose of getting a car is to generate funds and save to buy similar house or even better one later. I have a good job, but I intend to get other streams of income after work hours and mostly during weekends using the car for Uber.

Genuine advice needed.

Take a ride in an Uber to the house you want to buy, then while On the way ask the Uber guy for this same question. I believe will get your answer.

You can get 2 rooms, if it's being put in order (tiled floor and POP ceiling) you can rent it out (each room) for #150k annually.

For my village, half plot is more than 1.5M, talkless of land with building.
Since you have a stable source of income already, go for the house, it must surely appreciate with time.
If the car business can give you 1M in two months, go for it.
